Hi Cesis! I’ve been a fan of your work for a very long time, I just wanna let you know that me and the fans are here to support you during these hard times. Just like a lot of people, I hated the GO3 ending, thought it was a betrayal to the show and the fans, and we’ve all been struggling with it. I’ve come to accept my feelings and cope by just thinking it’s not canon, others use fanfic as a way to cope or others use snow globe theory. I know you’re struggling, and I’m really really sorry you are. I just wanna let you know that you’re not alone, I have seen many GO fans lose motivation due to the finale, which is understandable, so if you need a break or would like to indulge and create art from a different media entirely, we will still be here to support you. If you continue to make GO art we will still support. If you decide to create your GO inspired OC’s then we will support you. We will wait until you feel content again to create and inspire others to create, no pressure.

At the moment I am trying to concentrate on artfight since it motivates me to draw some different characters for once. Meanwhile, when I have time and motivation, I write a bit for Princess Treatment. Not sure when I get back to normality again, but I am thankful for everyone's patience ❤️

hey, I also sent this ask on IG, but I love that you're taking the step to start making your versions of Aziracrow into your own OCs. I've been doing this, and suggesting that others do it, for a few years now. It's so freeing, these big media producers do not and will not ever truly care about us, we have so much storytelling power within ourselves. Anyway, I know a good bit about actual angelology, Strange Bible-Adjacent Creatures, and aziracrow parallels in folklore, and can totally send you links/papers/research starters if it would be helpful for inspo. Lmk. Either way, though it's sad that this is needed, I think it's a sign that we're waking up as fans to our own power and worth and gaining some self-respect.

I unfortunately still feel very lost and don't know in which direction I should go. On one hand I still have so many stories to tell that are specifically tailored to GO AziraCrow and are difficult to implement to own OCs.

On the other hand I also have difficulties to simply let go. Aziraphale and Crowley are still so very dear to me and while I tried to come up with own characters I just thought "but it's not them..."

Maybe I just need to try it out and see what happens.

It's just... scary to jump into a whole new chapter after something so important was an anchor for years now and then was ripped away out of nowhere.

At least Princess Treatment helps me a little bit because it is them but far away from the original setting so it already feels like sth between canon and OC.

I don't know.

I absolutely don't know what to do.

Absolutely love how you drew the flower scene with the soft interaction between them! Also the outfit designs with Azi‘s cloak and Crowley‘s loose shirt and belt thing fit perfectly ❤️

Didn’t fully design their festival outfits yet but I would absolutely consider those in your drawings canon!
