After comp season was over I was so exited to dance and do power tricks again, I’ve been obsessed with adding more finesse and refinement to my movement however, this process is tiring and I’ve trained hard to the point where I now need to really take at least one week off from everything.... Back from competition month and back to regular training. Trying to really focus on movement quality, using isolations and weight transfer building from simple progressions I learned from @carmineblackdance workshop in ATL. I learned so much yet still find it hard to execute and consider all the tiny elements in movement, particularly when I free style, it sort of makes me overthink and move strangely, and makes me feel like such a newbie to pole. However, I like exploring and pushing myself to experiment with movement and find out what works for my body and what else I can improve.
