Truthfully, I didn’t want to leave but alas duty and family calls.” A thoughtful hum eases from blonde’s lips before offering shrug. “Coffee shop on main sounds perf,” socialite agrees.

“As you should be,” blonde hums as digits reach for glass,, free hand toying with toothpick pierced olive before sliding the olive of with pearly whites, downing it with the clear liquid in her glass before feigning surprise, gasp leaving lips. “What? You mean you aren’t a washed up loser? I should brush up on my french because those magazines I swear said you had really fallen off.” Laughter followed as she shook her head his way, blue hues sparkling mischievously. “Mhm, we’ll see about that,” Everleigh counters.

“disappointment? to see a beautiful sinclair woman? absolutely never.” he said with a smile, arms opening to pull her into a hug as he left a kiss of greeting against her cheek. “trust me, i’m more than happy to see you, honored even that one of your pitstops was to see little old me tell a bunch of terrible jokes. i’m not worthy, truly.” he said, heavy sigh leaving him as he placed a hand on his heart and let out a dramatic sigh. “at least let me buy you a drink? you know, to thank you for making the treacherous journey out here.”

Soft laugh is given as frame turns to welcome male’s hug, rolling cerulean hues at his words before hand rises to shove at his shoulder. “As if you wouldn’t be on the pitspot tour,” Everleigh taunts. “Terrible jokes and all. Sarcasm is so unbecoming of such a fine gentleman.” Truthfully, there wasn’t many people Everleigh wished to see, she could list them all on two hands and still have a finger or two left over, Jackson having always been a good friend being one of those few people outside of her family. “Well if you insist,” blonde hums. “You know I’m never one to turn down a free drink. Question is- Can the old man still keep up or has your age finally caught up to you?”

comedy. if he didn’t have that, he truly didn’t know where he’d be. it was what he fell back on after his nfl dreams came to shambles, using it as a coping mechanisms for his many failed relationships and the flop of his attempt at being a ‘serious actor.’ but he learned to embrace it, self deprecation being an artform he had mastered. and sure, he was on snl frequently, had a string of some of the funniest movies of all time and the most viewed late night talk show, but he enjoyed doing a stand up show every once in a while. and tonight was one of those magnetic nights - the crowd was howling with laughter and he was on fire. “and with that my friends, i bid you adieu, just like my five ex wives did to me. thank you, and good night, los angeles!” he yelled into the microphone, getting a standing ovation from the audience as he made his way down from the stage, shaking hands and signing autographs as he walked through the crowd before heading towards the bar, brow raising when he saw a familiar face. “well, well, didn’t expect to see you here.”

Hearing that Jackson was doing a stand up show had been the main reason that she had found herself at the comedy club, sitting at the bar as she sipped at her martini, watching on in amusement as the male gave a hell of show, chuckling to herself at his outro before sapphire hues fell on the male making his way towards the bar. “Is that disappointment I hear, Jackson Blackwell,” Everleigh quips playfully. “And here I thought you’d be more than happy to see me again. You’re breaking my heart over here.”

hum leaves lips at other blonde’s words, debating them silently before shaking her head, tongue clicking against teeth as she gave a shake of her head. “I don’t trust ubers,” Everleigh admits. “And assistants are almost always incompetent in some way. I prefer to handle my business on my own.”

The return to LA was inevitable especially considering the events that occurred for her cousins in Bora Bora, not that she really needed a reason to go home other than that fact that she truly missed Persephone and Athena. So here she was scouring the mall with arms full of bags, lowering herself onto a nearby couch and sinking back against the leather. “Maybe I should take all this to the car and go for a round 2,” Everleigh muses to her shopping partner. “Wonder if all of this is even going to fit in my car.”

First stop had been Persphone, second stop? The one Kennedy she adored over the rest, wanting to see how she was doing considering the bullshit she was having to deal with. Stepping into the cafe after shooting the femme a text asking to meet her, cerulean hues scanned the filled cafe, smile gracing her lips as she eventually spotted the other and made her way over, expensive chanel being set in the chair beside her as she seated herself across from Jordana. “You’re a hrad woman to track down, you know that, right,” Everleigh questioned.

Her return to Los Angeles was inevitable with the wrapping of film production and with the recent release of tabloid headlines, her first stop was always going to be her older cousin’s place, wanting to check in on her in light of everything. smile pulls across lips as other approaches, energy rolling off in her waves which the blonde desperately needed as she allowed a soft laugh to ease from her lips. “Are you kidding,” Everleigh hums, amusement sparkling in sapphire hues. “We were in Bora Bora. Of course I had fun.” Movements stop what they are doing at the mention of getting something to eat, smile quipping across her lips as she nods. “God, yes please, I am famished,” blonde muses.
