I mean, the thing is...Ben is poor. He would dress nicer if he could (there’s a leather jacket in a shop window he’s been eyeing for a year and a half) but if the choice is between making sure he can take care of Richard and buying something nice for himself, he’s gonna go with the former.

New Years Eve/Day. There’s just something about a fresh start that makes everyone hopeful (plus, he gets hella good tips)
