I wish every year we could celebrate this day with some real reflecting, some real enthusiasm, and some real urgency. 1. They were no longer slaves but still enslaved. 2. The government turned a blind eye to keep a system in place that had been deemed illegal years before. 3. The Louisiana Eagles are hosting an opening round playoff game and we’re about to set this thing off!! 6:00 pm at Istrouma High school and Eagles are about to fly circles all over the Louisiana Pride and move on to the 2nd round.
