❧ “Culinary sabotage and acoustic manipulation. Bit under your normal standard, don’t ya think?” She leaned forward a bit to rest her chin on one of her hands. In days past, she and Nic had been a frightful team when they wanted to be. She missed those days even if she’d never admit that she did. “In your opinion, when is the best time to start screwing with the lights? It’s not like I have to actually screw with any of the equipment.”

      Carlos was buzzing with energy. Not only was this his first Valentine dance but he had two dates and it was still a mystery to him as to how the latter had happened. “Food or dancing first?” He asked, turning to face both of his partners. They looked stunning and he had to refrain from saying so at least once every minute.

Jane was beyond excited for this event. It was her first Valentine’s that she had a date. And even better she actually had two dates. “If I know you two, you both want to check out the food first.” She giggled for a moment as she looked between the two of them. “But really I am okay with whatever you’d both like to do.”

⚔️ “Food sounds good!” Jay grinned. He had his hands jammed down his pockets, looking around the room. This was a whole new experience for the lad, on several levels. He had never even really been on a date before, let alone on one with two people. He also wasn’t sure how to behave seeing not many people even knew he was official with Carlos and Jane yet. “Uh, you two can dance, if you want, though.”

🐆 “Alright, pictures first then!” April said as she started walking the two of them towards the photographers. Posing in front of the cameras, she kissed Tamara right as the shutters clicked. “Now we are officially official. No going back now,” she grinned at her girlfriend. She laid her head to rest on Tamara’s shoulder, wrapping her arm’s around the other woman’s waist.

❄ “That is the correct answer!” Kristoff said with a grin. “And I will take you up on that later. That dancing thing.” He leaned forward on the table, hand in his chin. Quietly looking at his wife with a small, happy smile. He was quite happy to be here right at this moment, and was once again grateful about that random happenstance that led to them being at Oaken’s place at the same time.

❧ “Eh, can’t complain, I suppose. Just your average single on a day aimed at couples. So, y’know, I’m just grand..” Trademark sarcasm oozed from the last part of her statement. Still, she was glad to see V there and knew she must be having a fine time with her fiancee. “Where’s your girl? Mingling, I suppose, eh?”

✥ Tugging at his jacket nervously, he honestly was in two minds at being here. Half of him was glad of the opportunity to spend time with Paige now that they were back together and the other half was shouting at him that it was too early in this new chapter to be out and about as a couple. Scratching a non existent itch behind his ear he turned to his date. “You look as pretty as always.”

Everything about that night felt perfect to Arabella. Finally having come out to her father, she felt free to enjoy the ball with her three girlfriends. Standing next to her three dates, a huge smile on her face. “So should we find our table, or scour the food table first?” She mused to the others.

rosie was extremely happy to be spending the day with her girlfriends and could now show them off to others. the blonde perked up at the mention of food and grinned at the three females “oh! we should check out what they have!” she exclaimed taking two hands without looking to who it belonged to, she would take all three hands but that would be physically impossible for her, and started walking to the food table hoping the others would follow her lead.

Shock still wasn’t entirely used to the events in Auradon. She’d spent years only celebrating Halloween and then all of a sudden she was on the isle. Now that she’d been in Auradon for a while, she was still adjusting to all of the different events. Listening to the others, she smiled as Rosie reached for any of their hands. “Food does sound amazing. The food here is always so great.” She smiled.

❊ Tabby grabbed one of Shock’s hands and one of Rosie’s. eyes wide as she took in everything around her. “I do think food would be the best option, so we have proper sustenance as we make are way through the other activities this night has too offer for our enjoyment,” she contributed. She was already liking this Valentine’s thing much better than the Halloween thing, everything was pink and red and sparkly and looked like the Queen of Hearts threw up all over the place.

The red head had always been a fan of the balls that Auradon had hosted. The usually extravagant events were always spectacular, but this one falling on Valentines was even more special as she spent it with her husband.

☸ “No, I think I’ll just stay here and watch you,” Eric teased back before going over and taking his wife’s hand. He still liked extravagant parties like he had in his youth, but much the same as then, he preferred being out in nature, especially the open sea. But anywhere Ariel was would always be the best place.

❧ “Don’t worry, I won’t make you talk about personal stuff, that shit is boring gossip I could get off the column in the buzz anyway. People around here have a harder time keeping their noses out of things than anyone at the Isle ever did.” Dass took a sip of a drink she had brought, eyes squinting and biting her lip as she regarded he oldest mate critically for a second. Something was slightly different. A slight head-shake and a small sigh marked the end of her interest in this. “What are you planning this evening?”
