“ ‘m not a healer, but I’m pretty sure that’s not supposed to look like that.” he tilts his head, eye catching movement in his peripheral. now, hector is normally a quiet guy, but he’s been fighting this guy on whether or not his grindylow was actually happy to be a pet for like twenty minutes, despite the damn thing’s attempts to eat it’s owner every time he opens the tank. hector is tired. “ oi, you know anythin about healing ?? “

on any other day, nari would have had a house elf to help carry her shopping. but on that particular evening, she’d been going at it alone, a large box tucked under her chin. unfortunately, the box had been blocking most of her view, and she hadn’t seen the bottle left on the alley floor before it was under her heel.

the boxes in her hands flew up into the air and crashed on the ground; she’d anticipated joining them in the puddle but as she toppled backwards, she was swiftly engulfed in someone’s strong arms. she let out a gasp and quickly gathered her footing, stepping forward and out of the embrace. nari usually had rather polite manners, but the shock had her snapping. “i am quite capable of standing on my own, thank you very much.”

hector isn’t particularly fond of being touched by most people, but even he’s not gonna let some lady hit the ground if he can help it. reflexively, he’s catching her in his arms, wincing as the boxes his the ground. but before he can even check if she’s okay, the stranger opens her mouth. any thoughts he might have had acknowledging how pretty she was are immediately thrown out the window. 

“ evidently not, considering you were about to go arse over tit into the mud. “ his mother would box his ears for being rude, but in his defense, she started it. “ you’re welcome by the way” since she appears to not have balance or manners. Hector doesn’t say that though, even if he wants to. Instead, despite himself, he reaches over to help gather her fallen things.

Polyjuice potion did not agree with lycanthropes, it seemed. Henrick suspected it had something to do with the fact that their bodies underwent transformation pretty frequently.
