despite how cold and heartless he may act sometimes, youngsoo was always soft when it came to animals. he grew up having his fair share of them and even now he wanted at least a cat but his apartment complex didn’t allow pets and he wasn’t about to try and risk losing his home for one. he often spent some of his free time at the local shelter volunteering to get at least some interaction with animals – playing with them, bathing, feeding them – whatever the shelter needed him to do, every visit never giving him the same task. today, he was helping james do the baths and drying. he liked working with someone who liked animals as much as he did. “so, how long have you been coming down here?” youngsoo questioned as he was drying a small Corgi, turning his attention to james. @chaejames

Animals where to good for humans, too pure and often James found himself wondering what did the human race did to deserve them, and each time he came to the same answer: nothing And that’s how he ended up being a volunteer at the shelter, he wanted to help to take care of those angels who had bad luck but still filled all of them with love. James had been busy placing the wet towel away when his companion, Youngsoo asked him about his time there. “3 years more or less...when I started to get a little bit more of free time and money to spend on this cuties” He spoke while petting the Corgi, smiling happily. “What about you?”

You can call me M and I’m the mun behind this cutie pie James Chae, a local vet & animal lover to the max <3 gives his free time to stray animals (feed them, wash them & searches homes for them) also volunteer at the local dogpound and adopts the old animals so they wont be put to sleep (after he finds them nice homes bc the boy can’t feed that many animals).
