first thing’s first… jean is an Aries, ladies.
he’s of korean ethnicity and south african nationality — he left the country in mid-2016 to move to south korea. he speaks fluent english and near-fluent korean.
he left to get away from his parents. they weren’t ‘bad,’ but they held certain expectations over him that he just couldn’t meet. they were disappointed in him so, thinking it was the right thing, he moved. for the two years that he’s been in korea, he hasn’t gotten any texts or calls from his parents. he gave up on trying to contact them a few months ago.
if you asked him why he left, he’d just laugh and say he “needed a change of scenery, i guess.”
he has a lot of acquaintances, which are mostly regulars at his place of work, and just a handful of closer friends.
he works at a small, locally-run convenience store and (much to his discomfort) remembers just about every customer who enters. he strongly dislikes working there, but he can’t find a good enough reason to get another job yet.
he’s a gaming youtuber, and he usually records at night after work. his videos are always in english, but they have korean subtitles!
his online persona is just an amplified version of his real life personality. he portrays a loud, obnoxiously snarky guy in his videos. in person, he’s just as witty (moreover, sarcastic) and outgoing.
his gaming channel is GAMEJEAN (he thinks it rhymes with gaming). he primarily plays ‘horror-esque’ games, such as until dawn, the evil within, and the last of us. he has about 3k subscribers.

jimin is the daughter of a police officer and a doctor so within her home the importance of safety and health was heavily emphasized. she wasn't allowed out past the time of the night when the street lights came on, and wasn't allowed to ingest anything that wasn't heart healthy or organic. she was instructed to carry around disinfectant wipes anywhere she went, and reminded of the dangers of world everyday of her life.
even though she questioned her parents cautious take on life, she continued to follow each odd request without pushback. even if people stared a little too long when she took twenty seconds to wipe down a door handle before entering a building. precautions most people found strange, and she was heavily bullied because of it. though their words shot her spirit, and caused her to fall back in to herself she found a strange comfort in the routines her parents planned out for her
after her father was killed in the line of firewhile trying to down suspects, those routines became less of a comfort and more of a necessity. knowing that her father had always been a careful man who was aware of his surroundings, and persistent with double checking that could still become a victim of the world's harshness made her want to be more than just careful. she became weary of everything.
she took it upon herself to educate herself of each danger in nearly every activity she was interested in taking a part of. she made sure that ever piece of food or drink that she comsumed didn't run any health risk on her physically, internally, or mentally. took the liberaty of ensuring her household to be germ free, and all the things she once questioned about her parents.
for those who don't look close enough, she seems like nothing more than a quiet girl with a few odd habits. she's very kind, honest, and patient. the type to listen to you speak while maintaining eye contact, and nodding along in encouraging manner. she's easy to make laugh as she tries to take as much joy in all the small things as she can and wants to focus on living happily, healthy, and acheive her dream of becoming a nurse.
during her residency at local hospiptal it was the doctor she fellowed for that noticed her obsessive tendancies. the way she would trail up and down corridors wiping down doors with disinfectants in order of fours, or how she would scrub away at surgery equipment until her hands turn red from the scorching water. concerned he'd ask her to sit with a specialist, and she lied and said she had. fear that something had infected her mind the way diseases could affect the body.
though she doesn't know it because she won't see a professional, she does suffer from O.C.D that was triggered by the death of her father. she tries to repress the tendancies as best she can ever since her boss had asked her to see a professional and will go to great lengths to avoid seeing one.
CONNECTIONS:
enchanted: jimin had never been one for parties. the crowds, the loud music, the high risk of infection..--- it wasn't for her. this muse could see how uncomfortable she was amongst bodies. how forced her smiles were, and how her grip tended to tighten on the drink she was holding. they saved her from the displeasure she felt, and kept her company all night. keeping her mind off of the dangers, and focused more on the way they laughed and how the night seemed to be sparkling. their presence seemed to last even after they parted. 2 Am, and she was questioning who it was they loved. crush erupted from there, sadly she hadn't caught a glimpse of them since

sweetener: this muse can take any bad situation and make it better. they are patient and understanding with all of jimin's tendancies, and habits. they wait patiently, and never judge or comment. jimin feels the most comfortable with them, and shows them sides to her that she thought had died with her father. they're one of the most important people in her life, and if it were possible, she'd moved mountains for them.
million words: the only thing that scared jimin more than death, was relationships. being so intimate with someone to only have them walk away kept her awake at night. but this muse slowly helped her get over that fear. she was crazy about them. so enamored that she was constantly afraid that she was say the wrong things. so she opted for not saying much. no depth to her responses, and she was careful to never too much of what she was thinking. the lack of emotion, or vulnerability caused this muse to turn away, believing that she wasn't as invested in the relationship as they had been. when they ended it there were a million words on the tip of her tongue that she wanted to say but couldn't. and she still wished to this day that she could.
head over shoes: these two hint it off the moment they met. growing closer with every day, and spending almost every minute with each other. but somewhere done the line this muse began developing feelings that went beyond friendly liking. but every mention of a relationship was laughed off by jimin. her naive mind believing their conversations on a life spent together were just pretend. a way they would joke to make each other feel loved. for now, their playful conversations are all the other has to look forward to.

BACKGROUND:
being the family disappoinment isn’t easy, but someone’s gotta take one for the team and do it, right? that’s basically jinwoo’s second job, simply because he happens to be the so-called good-for-nothing middle child and the only artist in his family.
maybe it’s his fault, too, at least to a certain extent. maybe he shouldn’t have dropped out of college after one semester, but there’s more to life than a degree, or so he tells himself.
