Chaggie Week 2026 [ Day 1 - Nightmare ]
Vaggie's PTSD flashbacks showing us she had a friend in heaven that they did god knows what to?!
And they just had to re-animate this for extra trauma points,huh...
It's not a hard choice if you think about it
Glory 🩸⚔️🪽
Ok. So something I've been thinking about is Rosie. We know nothing about her. And I thought about this when I remembered that it was a Cannibal child that Vaggie saved when she fell. And then when Charlie was having trouble with Vaggie's secret, Rosie gave her advice that helped. This may be a longshot but what if Rosie's interest in the hotel isn't with Charlie or the Morningstars? What if she's focused on Vaggie? I mean, we have yet to hear it confirmed that Rosie sent Alastor there to keep on Charlie or the royals; heck I wouldn't be surprised if Rosie didn't correct Alastor's assumption. Also, Rosie has shown to be VERY smart and calculating, I think she either knew ALastor would find a way to break his contract all along or if she didn't, then she instantly formed a plan to keep him in check in the future, I mea the guy's arrogance and pride are his flaws. Anyway, what if Rosie was really trying to get to Vaggie all this time and while she does like Charlie only used the princess to gain trust in the former exorcist? Plus, I think it's peculiar that Vaggie is surrounded by eyes in both old and new artwork and her eye was gouged out while Rosie (and other Cannibals) have pitch black eyes that make it seem like they have no eyes. I know really out there theory; what do you think?
Oh my god this is such a good point. I have so many thoughts at once actually! Ahhhh.
Rosie really had so many surprises in S2 that really excited me. I did sadly know the spoiler about her owning Alastor's soul but gosh when they showed the cast of people Alastor's levied against her it really made me think she was aligned with Charlie's goals for sure, if not Lilith's.
And like you said, we know nothing about Rosie and she has the strangest of the voice actor sheets. It says something like she "seems trapped in the 1910s" as opposed to just saying she is from there like everyone else! I've always wondered if she isn't pretending to be from different eras. Also I SUPER RECOMMEND this post by DiamondKat about Rosie! It goes into her character from Zoophobia which was someone who worked for the royal family. I do seriously think Rosie was happier when Lilith was around and obtained her power and control then, it really makes sense.
YOUR POINTS ABOUT ROSIE REALLY ADD UP. LIKE there is just too much that stacks - the kid, the advise, the all black eyes, it's insane.
THE CANNIBAL KID -- BECAUSE LISTEN, one of the biggest complaints people have about the show is not being sure how the rules of hell work with people having kids and what is and is not a hell born. I think its fine to let things be cartoon logic but my point is it would make more sense if there was a REASON it had to be a cannibal child! If it was meant to point us in Rosie's direction. (I also noticed cannibals having a bridal shower at Husk's casino which could add to the idea that Rosie has deals and agreements with everyone). And then you are right again that she directs Charlie BACK to Vaggi! Another point you can add towards the idea that Rosie might be focused more on Vaggi is that they have that mirror shot of Charlie and Vaggi both talking with Vaggi being a reflection to symbolize how she is trying to get Charlie to see herself and Rosie's card is right there. There is something about this shot that makes me wonder, even down to Charlie's back being turned to it.
I don't think your theory is crazy at all! I feel like Rosie having the man-eating sauce and stuff like that indicated that she really lived by the kill-or-be-killed way. I personally see Rosie as Alastor's mentor, she teaches him how to make deals in hell and how much they can cost you. I feel like he was either going to die or get out her contract and that by doing so he sort of "graduated" from her with her being the older and more seasoned deal maker. If she gave Alastor a hand then he might think one day that its okay to let his guard down and that will kill him just the same. They have one of the most interesting dynamics in the show and I do think they are friends but I think Alastor's deference to any woman who ends up in a motherly role towards him is a personal restriction on himself.
Everyone ends up attached to their worst possible match in hell: Valentino is the worst person for Angeldust and he once trusted him, Husk is the type of person Alastor can manipulate most easily and he is trapped in a deal with him. In this way Alastor ends up beholden to a woman who would never give any type of man mercy as if to punish the part of his personality that always benefits from being (in his point of view) charitable. So its like Rosie is always testing who Alastor says he is by giving him no mercy, she pushes people to become their own problem just the same and would see it as his own failing if he let his temper give his hand away. Alastor only lived to be 30-40 but he was in hell for 92 years given that he died in 1933 and he has been training under Rosie for ALL of those 92 years. Since he has never been free of Rosie a day in hell, it's hard to even know where he fully starts and she ends.
GOD YOUR POINT AT THE END WITH THE EYES IS SO GOOD. Rosie's eyes are completely black and Vaggi is followed by eyes in her art as far back as it goes as well as the entire world of hell being covered in Roo's eyes (we all are guess) really makes me wonder! I do think that you are right that Rosie has a deeper interest in Vaggi, I mean even if her goals are still aligned with Lilith and the Morningstar, you already pointed out how Alastor (who we now know was ordered to bring Charlie to Rosie) brought Charlie there under the pretense of Rosie being someone she could trust with more personal problems. He knows that Vaggi lives for Charlie because that's how he gets her to make a deal in the very first episode so it's likely that Rosie already understood who and what Charlie cared about. Just like Lucifer, Charlie can be controlled by whoever she loves the most. Most people can't even calm Charlie down or understand her perspective and Vaggi is the only one who is helping he keep her head above water, she's her life line. Plus, because Charlie is so much like her dad if Rosie is working for Lilith to watch Charlie, Vaggi, or both they can easily assume how she will react to things.
Even down to Carmila's willingness to help Vaggi we can wonder about Rosie. Rosie and Carmilla have been working together a long time, if Rosie is pulling the strings she managed to get the only overlord with a guilty sense of justice in a pretty good position of power which sets up for someone like Vaggi to fall.
This is such a good ask I really NEED to see Rosie content in season 3 I am dying now.

The absolute mindfuck of realizing that Vaggi, Lute, and all of the excorists are, at most, around 8 years old because Adam, as an archangel, would've created their species for the purpose of the exterminations is knocking the wind out of me right now.
None of them had a childhood. Literally. They were made as adults, with the only knowledge of they were created to commit genocide once a year and none of their fellow heaven peers are allowed to know. They were isolated, and also had to deal with a misogynistic piece of shit and his sidechick who's he's conditioned and manipulated into being honestly just as bad as him.
And the punishment for what is deemed as failure? Which is showing basic human empathy, especially to whom they deem the most unworthy of it?
It's absolutely brutal. Not to mention it's also technically unlawful banishment. Vaggi can still return to Heaven unlike Lucifer, and she did not develop any demon-like features, either.
Vaggi may not have even been the only one, because you can have a fair debate if this is the other woman we saw Vaggi with previously.
Seriously the lives all the excorists were made to live is some of the most fucked up shit in this show when you break it down.
They were made to be objects and tools used by Adam to not only be his ideal pretty little dolls to command, but also to simply kill. Their purpose was to literally commit genocide, train to commit genocide, and whenever they're not fighting, they're Adam's dolls. I would not put Adam above sexually assaulting them on top of the constant sexual harrasment he already gave. And they are as disposable as a used napkin to Adam. If they did not meet his standards, he could and would just throw them away. He conditioned and manipulated Lute so much that she ended up basically being just as bad as him, just in different ways. It's insanely fucked.
They all were conditioned for genocide and to be a man's tool for all of time, and honestly it is insanely hard not to feel bad for every single one of them, including Lute. None of this excuses any of them killing hundreds of demons, no shit. But considering that this was what they were made for and were conditioned into beileving they had no other purpose then to live this absolutely horrible, morally corrupt, fucked up existence, it makes you understand how they ended up the way they are.
Hazbin Hotel Masterpost
Mind you, I used to hate drawing kisses

Not loving my art lately
It’s whatever
Based this off a statue called The Lovers Embrace in France.
Your heart, my heart, when I am with you...
Two souls, one goal, we'll never lose...
The second best part of Hazbin Hotel is that the main female lead isn't going to be written to have all her ambitions and efforts disappear as soon as she is paired off with the guy in the story. Charlie being in an established relationship means she doesn't get her story redirected to romance, which will conflate even in other wlw stories like Shera. Her relationship is still a make or break to her mental health but she already knows who she is, she already has her ambitions and positions to achive- both girls in the relationship have their own background and personality separate from each other. The fact that Alastor is canon ship-locked and that Charlie is lip-locked is the only reason those two can have a story without the wombo combo of hetcomp temper tantrums and shipping expectations impacting their ability to have a narrative. People harassing animators because they are so used to having the story be about what appeals to them when the other identity being discussed is so dramatically less visable is so obviously not just a pure shipping debate. There are so many stories where the male lead is allotted with a female character and then she disappears or where the female leads devotion to her male romance is more important than her narrative because thats the mouth the audience demands to feed more. And even in this story where it is designed on purpose to prevent that from the rip, it's weight still impacts the person trying to tell the story. Wonder what that means.
The best part of Hazbin Hotel is that the main female character is romantically and deeply in love with another woman. The intersection of homophobia and sexism is real and you can spend five minutes reading about any lesbain representation to see how much that group is consistently maligned and mistreated. As a person who spends my time with acespec characters and enjoying acespec stories and dynamics I am able to assert myself and my frustrations pretty easily whenever I want but every time I see a lesbain do it I see the conversation be redirected about how other ppl just don't like it and other unnecessary comments about their preference. Yall would never share some of these takes on an Alastor post to the op talking about Alastor cause you know people would push back on you. Sugar was striaght up told there would be no protection if ppl resented SU when she made the wedding of Sapphire and Ruby connected to the advancement of the plot so it wasn't cut out like they cut out Pearl's dance with Rose. The final CaitVi scene isn't even seen in some places, they are edited apart. Wlw and lesbains get nothing constantly and even when they do they are so commonly killed off its literally insane. From Buffy to Killing Eve they get the same ending. I pretty much don't think it is reasonable to pretend you don't get this layer anymore. You cannot fail to engage with any aspect of feminism and think your perception and feelings alone are gonna give you the correct approach to every problem; you cannot stop at your own identity and experiences when it comes to engaging in aspects of oppression.
So well said 👏 🔥 🔥

Parts 1 and 2
top 10 reasons to obsess over fallenwings
in no particular order, except kind of chronological:
1. FOILS. they are sooo foils. THE foils EVER to me even. different in many important ways similar in many interesting ways, hate each other because of those differences and then even more because of those similarities
2. their shared ~religious trauma~ (and just their shared likely traumatizing background in general)
3. the many possibilities there are for what their relationship could have been like before vaggie spared the child. genuinely loving? mildly hostile coworkers with benefits? mutual/maybe one-sided pining/obsession that never came to fruition because of repression? so many possibilities, all fascinating to think about
4. how violently lute punished vaggie for sparing a sinner, especially how she cut out her eye…that was PERSONAL. also culty but also PERSONAL.
5. the fact that lute still obviously hated vaggie very much and thought about her often, even after like. YEARS. girl what is your problem.
6. whatever inspired lute to passionately say both "their love is vile and blasphemous" and later "rip vaggie's cunt mouth out her ass!!!" Like That
7. the fight scene, just. the fight scene. i mean LOOK
8. the way lute begged vaggie to kill her and the way vaggie refused to...also this wince
9. lute TORE OFF HER OWN ARM so she could go FLYING TACKLE VAGGIE. lute TORE OFF HER OWN ARM so she could go FLYING TACKLE VAGGIE. lute TORE OFF -
10. they're both hot
