Photos of the Week Series: July 13, 2018
Associate Photo Editor Kristen McNicholas has been responsible for looking at daily uploads so she has the first set of eyes on every image that the Your Shot community shares. She starts each day looking through thousands of photographs and this series will be a selection of her favorites from the past week. Each Friday she will be sharing her favorites here!
“I can only sum up this week’s series as ‘surprising.’ I saw fireworks disguised as abstract flowers, almost fell off the deck of a boat and stepped into what I could only describe as a Russian countryside movie setting.
I share the photos that delight me, leave me wanting to look more. Sometimes I’ll see pictures that stick with me throughout the week. Of course, there is a higher chance of your photos being featured if you are sharing with out community regularly. If you haven’t uploaded recently, I encourage you to take a creative risk and share it with us! We all have something to learn from each other. You can get inspiration from our Editor’s Notes, but you can also get inspiration from your fellow community members who consistently upload and seek feedback.
I learn something new from pictures every day so I challenge you all to do the same! Come teach us something, give us a new perspective or simply surprise us.”
