he truly had changed, even just a little, if the sight of snow white was an unfamiliar sort of comfort to him. he had found most of the people in storybrook to be annoying, and yet, they were familiar. knowing who he was working with was a lot better than not knowing. the use of his given name was odd though, considering he had been “gold” or “mr. gold” since arriving in sydney.

“your majesty.” he replied with his usual air of prompt and contempt. “i should have known you’d find me some way or another. to what do i owe the pleasure?”

snow typically tended to use the given names of those she knew from the enchanted forest. it was mainly given the fact that she preferred being called snow rather than mary margaret. she felt more herself being called snow. "it's just-- nice to see a familiar face for once," she admitted, shaking her head. she'd yet to see david here, which was hard considering that they always found each other. "do you happen to know how we're here? i mean-- was it your curse, er, the dark curse?" she questioned. "surely you'd know if somebody cast your curse, right? i mean, it feels the same, except i've noticed some people have memories and yet others don't," snow wasn't sure if that made sense, but it felt different from the dark curse yet similar.

.｡.:*☆ "Dancing and drinking usually," Guilia replied with a shrug. Truth to be told, she had not been on many Halloween parties so far. But again, it sounded fun. And Guilia liked having fun.

"I have also been told about games like fishing an apple out of a bowl with your teeth, andd stuff. But I guess you do not have to do that, if you do not want," She therefore added with a shrug. "Oh, and I know a place where we can get costumes. Should we get Alberto to join us, or will it just be you and me to go there?"

they nodded, frowning just a little. dancing and drinking. he wasn't sure that was their idea of fun, but he'd give it a shot for her. "fishing an apple? with teeth?" yeah, he wasn't so sure he'd want to do that. "we should ask alberto, i think he'd appreciate it if we invited him." luca knew how jealous alberto tended to get about things like that. "even if he doesn't want to come, i think it would be a nice gesture." they explained softly, smiling. "what do people usually dress as?"

.｡.:*☆ "There would not have been much to take for them, anyway." It was not going well lately for Elena. Mostly because she had called out sick of work so often after another night full of bad dreams. Her boss was understanding, and still... she would not be surprised if she would find herself being fired soon.

"Anyway, thank you again, and...." Taking the wallet from Caroline, Elena hesitated. She should not ask what she was about to ask. It would certainly only make her look like a freak. And that after thew other had been so nice to her. And yet...

"And, I know this sounds stupid, but - you and I, we certainly have not met before already, have we?"

"no, i don't think so," caroline answered, shaking her head as she furrowed her eyebrows together. there was a sort of familiarity about this woman, but she couldn't place it. "sorry, maybe you're getting me mixed up with somebody else?" caroline wasn't sure if she knew the woman or not, maybe she did. maybe they'd met in passing once. "oh, how rude of me, i'm caroline forbes." she'd already known the name of the other woman due to it being on the i.d. she'd looked at, but she hadn't told her own name.

most of nini’s time both in and out of school was spent writing music. she wanted to make something of herself one day and this was how she was going to do it. music had always been in her, at a young age she was singing and performing for anybody that would listen. she’d even graduated early so she could go to college for music. it was her off day, so she sat down on a bench in the park, trying to write a song. usually, it came naturally to her, but right now it was difficult. after pausing for a moment, the wind had caught up and took the paper along with it. “jesus. why today?” she groaned and stood up to chase after it, not wanting to litter or lose the song she’d been working on. “sorry,” she whispered as the wind kept picking up, causing her work to continue to move along the sidewalk. “please no. please.” she prayed under her breath, the only focus she had being getting her song back. “hey, excuse me! could you stop that paper?” she called out to somebody, anybody who would actually stop and listen. “please?”

thena hadn’t had any madness in a while now. while she still preferred to stay away from the crowds and humans, sometimes errands meant she had to go into the city. but with most of her shopping done, she was walking through the park for a little peace when heard the girl’s call and noticed the paper blowing across the sidewalk. before it blew into the busy street, thena manifested a spear and reached out, sticking it into the corner of the paper to stop it in it’s tracks. she picked it up and handed it to the girl. there was a rip in the corner, but it was still in tact, writing still readable. “here,” thena said. “you should be more careful.” it wasn’t said mean, but might have come off as blunt, considering thena could be a bit stoic sometimes.

"thank you! sorry about that," nini said awkwardly as she took her papers back from the woman. "that was really cool. how did you do that?" the young woman was looking at her with a wide eyed wonder, shocked that she'd just seen that. could she have just imagined it? no, there was the rip in the corner that confirmed she had seen this. the only magic that came from where nini was from was the magic of the theater. everything always came together last minute for her and the other students at east high.

“I know right? I was hoping to find some way to make one at least but I was worried I’d get a splinter or something if I wiped out on it.” Ricky admitted with a nod. He followed in the direction that she showed and hummed. “It’s an interesting place, right? I don’t know, Sydney had always been one of those places that you knew existed but you didn’t know much about. at least, it would be seen by my eyes in my life time.” Ricky admitted with a hum. “I really like this place, though, I think it’s got character.”

"oh yeah, i don't blame you. i'd be worried about that too." nini had never skateboarded a day in her life, but she was also too clumsy for that. she'd always admired how ricky could just do that without a care in the world. "i just wish we could have instagram or something back. i miss having a place to post my songs." nini admitted before adding, "it was easier to grow a following that way." being taken in and out of sydney on occasion was stressful, but she typically adapted well to change. she enjoyed exploring new places though that was usually when she chose to go to them.

.｡.:*☆ He had to chuckle when reading her thoughts. "Yes, Rosalie, I have missed you too." Edward was aware that he was not really her favourite brother, so to speak. But, it was okay. They were family and would always do everything for each other. And that was what did matter, on the long run.

"and yes, I do remember, no worries." Not everything though, from what he had learned recently. "Have you seen any of the others around? I know Bella is here, and her father, I think. And Carlisle.... well, he was. And no, I can not tell what happened. One day, he was just gone again, from all I know."

"missed? now you're just lying to me," she teased lightly, clearly in a much more pleasant mood since finding her brother. "i haven't seen them, no. i wish i have because i do miss having family around." some days were lonelier than most, but she tried to keep herself occupied in the mechanic shop on those days, fixing up cars. "interesting... well, i'll keep on the lookout in case he reappears?" a shrug as she ran her fingers through her hair. "how have you been? i mean, for me this is odd." rosalie had lived through the twenties. she just wished there were a way to be human again here.

"No, I don't work here, but I could probably help you." Jess shrugged. She didn't mind helping with things such as fashion, that was one of her many expertise. Along with taking the perfect selfie. "Orange wouldn't be good, I agree." She pursed her lips together as she considered what the other would look good in. There were plenty of options that would go with her complexion. "Here, come with me," She took the other's wrist and began to lead her to another clothing rack, immediately beginning to card through the clothing until AHA! There it was. "Go try this one."

"life saver," elle grinned, thankful that this woman seemed to be friendly. some women were hit or miss. there were women that tore others down, saw others as competition. that was how vivienne had been, but thankfully she'd changed and actually helped elle. "oh! thanks!" elle exclaimed as she took the dress handed to her. she went to go try it on and came out with a wide grin. "hmm. what are we thinking?" she felt like it was missing something. maybe matching shoes, accessories, but she couldn't quite place it.

.｡.:*☆ "I do not like this town doing things again...." Ruby stated. But then - knwoing very much Sapphire was right - she took a deep breath and nodded at the other.

"You are right, it is not that bad when I look at it from this angle. I am sorry." She smiled at Sapphire, leaning a little into the touch, nodding again. "I just do not like things I can not control. Plus on some days, it feels like Sydney really does not want us to have a moment to breath. Which makes me wonder again about the reasons we've actually been brought here...."

"don't apologize, it is alright," sapphire told her in a soft voice, giving a kind smile. she was always so patient with the other woman, knowing how rubies tended to get. "i know, my love. perhaps we're here to fix something or just get a chance to live." she knew that the two of them worked well as garnet, but here, saph got to see ruby's beautiful face. there were pros and cons to being separated like this. "how about we go and get something to eat?" as gems, they didn't have to eat, but in this humanlike form, they did. "we can sit and discuss other things."

"Oh, hi," Jess said as she looked at Sam with an awkward smile. They weren't too close even back then, especially after the whole prank thing, but they'd gone through the same experience, so it was nice to have somebody there that understood. "I've been decent. Neither good nor bad," she shrugged as her eyes scanned over Sam. "Quite a while. Sucks to be here without my phone, you know. I mean seriously? If some magic witchcraft whatever is going to send us to some random point in time, couldn't we have ended up somewhere where Instagram exists?"

"yeah, i guess i do miss my phone too," she admitted softly with a shrug. sam was glad that jess seemed to be the same. "hey, i was, uh, wondering if you knew what happened that night..." she hadn't known what happened to anybody except herself. sam had gotten out, saved as many people as she could. even then, she didn't know for sure. especially considering there were multiple different types of 'endings' to their story. "sorry if this is, like, not what you'd want to discuss, but i just want to see what you remember and know."

.｡.:*☆ Allison had not expected to actually find shops seeling magic items in Sydney in the 1920's. Finding one with a sign dangling above the door with something in latin written onto it had therefore gotten her curious, and Allison leaned forwad a little in order to peek through the window.

Although, there was not much to see, it was all dark inside. So, she tried the door handle next, only to find that the door was clearly locked. "What a shame," Allison sighed, ready to turn away and leave just when someone came walking up towards her.

"Hey!" Allison waved, willing to give it a shot. "I know my chances are slim but - you are not possibly the owner of this little shop here, are you?"

amity had been making her way to another shop when she was stopped by the woman in front of her on the sidewalk. "oh, no, sorry. i have been here before though, they have strange hours. maybe try coming back later?" she suggested as she looked at the other woman. "i was actually going to come here later, if you'd like to accompany me with my other shopping," amity said softly with a shrug. amity herself had magic, so she tended to shop for magical items when she had the chance. typically, she'd have a friend with her, but they'd all been busy lately.

"oh, i'm so sorry," chrissy said when she'd run into the man, eyes wide. "i didn't mean to bump into you," she was a bit jumpy, practically scared of her own shadow at the moment. she'd only recently got all of her memories back, so she was afraid every corner she turned that somebody or something would be there to cause harm to her. truthfully, she'd been hearing the clock that she'd heard before she died, but she wasn't telling anybody that. she didn't want anybody to think that she was crazy. "oh, you dropped this." chrissy leaned down and picked up the item she'd caused him to drop.

hearing the familiar name dustin henderson, chrissy turned around. she had never formally met him, but she did know that he was from hawkins. "hi, um, dustin? sorry to bother. i'm chrissy, chrissy cunningham. from hawkins. i was sort of wondering if you knew, maybe, how we ended up here?" she asked nervously. she just wanted some answers and maybe he knew the answers to the questions she had. "i only recently started remembering everything and i guess i'm just still confused how all of this happened."

chrissy was a bit jumpy lately. remembering who she was, how she'd died, everything like that, had awoken something in her. she had constant nightmares that caused her to stay awake at night. that caused her to start falling asleep in some classes, which caused nightmares in class. it was a vicious cycle. she hadn't even been able to see those she'd known here yet, which was fine, but it was also stressing her out.

when chrissy spotted eddie, her eyes little up slightly. finally, a familiar face. "eddie, hi! it's me! it's chrissy!" she exclaimed a bit excitedly, hoping that he recognized her and knew her. "do you- do you remember me?" she asked him, chewing on the inside of her cheek.

all chrissy could think of as she walked through the halls of the university was how lucky she was to be here. alive. when she'd first gotten her memories back, she couldn't help but to have thought that this was what happened after death. then, after meeting somebody else that had died back where they were from, she realized that they were somehow just here. some magic that chrissy didn't understand at all. still, she was glad to be alive and away from her mother. wait was that mean? maybe she shouldn't think that.

"oops, sorry!" chrissy said as she accidentally bumped somebody, causing her own books to fall from her arms. "are you okay? i didn't hurt you, did i?" she'd never actually had the chance to meet eleven, so chrissy didn't even recognize her as somebody she knew.

isadora had been raised as an only child here in sydney. she didn't have her brothers with her. she wasn't a triplet here. she didn't know the tragedy that had befell upon their family. she only truly knew life in sydney. the only faint memory of her past was her commonplace journal, which she only remembered as a poetry book since she'd written her poetry in there. "excuse me, i don't mean to be a bother, but i think you may have just picked up my order by mistake." she told him as she held up the bag that would have been his. she'd only heard the name quagmire called out, which of course was her last name. she hadn't realized she'd gotten the wrong order until she looked in the bag and then heard another quagmire called out. "i believe that this one is yours." she handed it over with a kind smile. she wondered if he had the same last name or if that was his first name. from what she knew, it wasn't too common.

"i ask myself that every single day," richie chuckled as he shook his head. "we can start with the most obvious-- undiagnosed adhd. i haven't eaten all day. i'm madly in love with my best friend... yeah, that covers all the bases." did he have to admit that last one? definitely not, but he did. saying it out loud made it feel more real. he was finally coming to terms with everything. back then, he'd sort of known, even carved their initials into the kissing bridge, but he hadn't been able to say it out loud before. he didn't think eddie would ever like him back, but oh well.
