We've been going through the ranks pretty fast. Makes you wonder how far some of the others already are.

Still getting used to being bipedal, but that vivillon didn't stand a chance

Does anyone else get this weird feeling about mega evolution? Something about it just feels wrong...

Everything I hear about it though is how it represents deep bonds with your pokemon and I don't think that's bad...

I don't want to think that's bad...

Hey, Quazartico, who's bright idea was it to put a wild zone on a cemetery? I just wanna talk.

In their defense, it wasn't like they were going to get the ghosts to leave, and this way people can at least walk past the place safely.

Still, a widow should be able to visit her husband safely... The wild zones don't really feel like a solution.

Just watched some kind of rally where the guy speaking tried to convince people that we should learn to fist fight pokemon instead of making more wild zones.

At least his heart was in the right place?

He's gona get multiple people killed.

Prism Tower is now seen! It's definitly impressive, and apperently visitors used to be allowed inside before it was closed for renavations a few months ago. Maybe I should have set out sooner.

Somethings up with the tower, I've been around since before the wild zones, and I swear, there's something new about it. I just can't place a feather on it.

I'm rank Y now, just beat Lumiose's "Le Z Eternel" so don't know how much of an accomplishment it really is, but hey! A win is a win.

Also, has anyone ever heard of croissant curry before or is my friend just weird?

Updates:

Registered for the Z-A Royal, turns out it's a nightly battle tournament

Caught a few new pokemon for some pokedex promo, turns out the city's pokemon professor needs some help surveying the wild zones

Anyways, here's the new team members:

Cinder the fletchling: Totodile, how in distortion did you figure out how to use the rotom glass?

Bog the bunnelby: No wait answer the question!

And Ollie the mareep: He's sleeping right now, hopefully he'll be awake to help out tonight.

Ponvoi, don't wake him, we already interrupted his nap once today.

It's a new day! I may be staying in Lumiose a little longer than I first thought, though I didn't have any strict plans anyway.

I wanna find out how someone gets registered for the battle royal thing, as Ponvoi seems to enjoy it.

How exactly did you meet ponvoi?

So funny story actually.

I had just gotten through the gates of the train station when someone stopped me asking if I could help with some kind of ad for the hotel he worked at, saying he needed someone touristy looking (Should probably change that asap)

I had heard about tourist scams similar to this in big cities but I figured the guy seemed genuine enough to probably not rob me.

Well someone did rob me, though thankfully the hotel guy helped me get my bag back, and even offered me a starter to battle with when we got stranded in a battle zone.

That starter was Ponvoi, and now we get to figure out what the heck to do next.

That tournament seems like a good place to start though. Battling with Ponvoi was a lot of fun. Though there was this weird sense of deja vu...

Overall a pretty interesting start. I even got offered a room at the hotel I agreed to help advertise. And the place is really nice, if not a little secluded.
