The problem was, "What should I eat for dinner tonight?"
I meditated for about fifteen minutes. I was a little bit hungry. This was what I came up with (idk why it got flipped, but that's tumblr's fault):
It's a little strange, but I know what these items are. from left to right on the top: my mom from the 90s, a bag from some grocery store, a crocodile??? with an arrow or a fishline or a hook coming towards its teeth, a quail?-duck-thing, a sea-shell. From the bottom left to right: water in a bowl, a butterfly, a coconut tree, coconut splitting and opening and water slipping out.
I have no idea what it means, but it might be that I'm craving something that my mom used to cook in the nineties. I'm seeing my parents this coming weekend, too, so that might also be a solution. The bag... I should go shopping? The crocodiles eat birds... so I might be interested in having some sort of chicken tonight? Or maybe fish, according to the sea-shell and the water. The bowl might actually be me getting water for cooking rice in the rice pot, though. The butterfly... am I craving eating insects? Or maybe a peaceful meal alone, without my roommate to nag me? The coconut/palm tree... could... possibly... be... well, I know I'm not craving coconut water because I hate that stuff. Perhaps it's again a sign of wanting isolation for a while. The spilled coconut can be my fragile feelings being spilled onto the ground because of events from this morning -- or it could be that I want to go bowling.
Not really sure what to make of this exercise, but it was interesting... I'm making chicken and rice today, I guess! I enjoyed this because I'm notoriously indecisive when it comes to what to eat for dinner.
Did this in the kitchen, heh. It was loud and people kept coming in and out and asking me what I was doing.
