DANIEL SHARMAN Man About Town / 2020 › ph. Angelo Sgambati
💕 - chandler, aaron, mason
💕 - go on a date with, hang out with, unwillingly get set up with
“Go on a date with Chandler because I’m pretty sure we’re dating anyway, hang out with Mason because I’m not entirely sure who he is, and unwillingly get set up with Aaron because he’s a nice enough guy and we’ve already done that once and it could’ve been worse.”
ft: @chandler-rawlins. @masonhcrtley, @aaronhirsch
🚓 - marion, malia, chandler
🚓 - go to jail with, bail out of jail, send to jail
“’Scuse you, send to jail? Not how I roll, unless by ‘jail’ you mean an inmate-themed restaurant or something. Then maybe Chandler, because I think a fake prison tat on his ass would be kinda nice. He can rock black and white stripes probably. Otherwise, I would go to jail with Marion (surprised we never did that) and bail Malia out of jail as if she’d ever need that help.”

🍆 - Jamie, Chandler, Ardin
🍆 - have sex for the rest of the life with, friends with benefits, one night stand
“I’d have to go one-night stand with possibly Chandler. We’re friends, I mean. That would be a little weird otherwise. Friends with benefits with Ardin. And Jamie and I have already had sex, so it’s not like there’ll be any surprises there if we do it for the rest of our lives.”

EMMA AINSLEY.
Emma had been lost in her own little world when the familiar voice broke through. She’d been buried in designs for a new movie she’d signed up for, taking advantage of a morning to herself for once, having dumped Riley off with one of the other mom’s for a play date. Summer was great and all, but now she had a little person to account for, she barely ever got a minutes peace. The dogs were also with a dog walker and would be kept busy for an hour or so before they were taken back to her place again, so there was nothing to worry about.
She looked up from her work, her eyes lighting up at the sight of Chandler before her. God, how long had it been? She definitely hadn’t seen him since her college days, but he only conjured up fond memories —- a lot of them from when she’d still been trying to figure out what she wanted out of life. “Wow. Hi,” she responded, her work now forgotten. “It’s been a while.” She let his words hang in the air for a moment, and then shrugged her shoulders, smile playful. “I’ve been here for twelve years, believe it or not.” Almost as long as they’d gone without seeing one another. “How long have you been here?”
.
Emma’s equally stunned response to their run-in made Chandler laugh. His lips remained turned up in a smile as they exchanged greetings. “It has. At least twelve years--” He quickly did the math. “--thirteen actually. By my count. Before I left for France.” Which was when everything in Chandler’s life changed. He was a young artist on the precipice of success. A lot of his work had already received notable recognition in the community. Which was how he afforded Art School in Paris. It was as pretentious as he was, and he loved it. Quickly falling in love with the culture, and then a woman. Chandler would go on to marry her, his French bride, and father her one and only child. When she passed he didn’t think he’d survive, but he did. Not for himself, but for their daughter.
“We moved here back in March. My daughter starts kindergarten this fall, and I didn’t want to send her to school in LA.” There were plenty of nice schools in the city. Expensive, prestigious ones he couldn’t afford. What was decent beyond that was overcrowded or lacked the sense of community he wanted for her. “We live in Lafayette Square. I uh, bought this split space. An apartment upstairs, and a gallery and work space beneath. Which allows me to work more as it’s just me and her, so.” He had started to ramble and didn’t know why. It just felt particularly nice to reconnect with old friends. “What about you?” His hand was on the chair in front of him. Chandler didn’t know if he should sit or not. “How have you been?”
