Changes are Good

I’ve seen the error of my ways and stopped mass producing my Thneeds. It’s not wise to destroy nature…It really isn’t. So, if you have questions for me go on ask them. I promise that I don’t bite. Hard. I was recently murdered. It could have been set up by my mother. I have a child that I adopted from the Once-ler Foster Project. He is a very sweet boy by the name of Astronomy-ler. He goes by Astro though. He is currently living with my mother. I also have quite a few animals. I have: Melin Vanilla and Coco: An Umbreon and Eevee Lushie: My black and white cat I named after Drunk. I also have one currently nameless kitten that needs a good home. heeeeey its been a while

Hey there. I'm sorry. My Mun feels as if she's loosing her grip on me so we've been on vacation.

I am like the lamest Once-ler ever. -sigh- I'l try to be on here more, but I'm thinking of jumping ship. I doubt I'll delete though. ]]

"Yeah, I'm glad I'm still here even if I'm not always the one in the driver's seat anymore." Once put his shades back on, still smiling. "Still, though, I think you and Astro could use a bit of protection. More of a 'just in case' kinda deal."

"Are your eyes more sensitive to light?" Changed asked after Once had put his shades back on.

"Do you want us to move closer to you?" He asked as Astro wandered out of his room holding his stuffed fish. 

"Uncle Once!" The little boy yelled as he practically launched himself at the rocker.

"Yeah? Wanna tell me about it?"

"Hm.... What do you want to know?"

"He wanted to kill me but then he decided we could cut a deal. All because I built the factory too close to his space." Once sighed again. "At least he hasn't gotten violent since then. At least, not toward anything living."

"Well for what it's worth Once I'm glad he didn't." Chaged said with a smile. "And at least he's not being violent."

"That's alright." She smiled. "So where'd you guys go, anyway?"

"Lots of places."

"Well, if you're having trouble keeping yourselves fed, you're allowed to give me a buzz for help." He smiled. "As for the demon thing, it's not a huge problem as long as I keep up my part of the deal. Just gotta let him take over any time I got a show. But eh, I still can't exactly hide every sign." Once took off his sunglasses, revealing dark circles that almost looked painted on him.

"Dude.... you look like death himself. Did the thing half-kill you or something?" Chance blinked forgetting all about the other's offer.

"Damn, seriously? That sucks." He sighed and leaned back some. "And they didn't even consider that you had a kid before running you out of town?"

"Nope. We hightailed it out of town. Astro thought it was all a game.... I hope he still thinks that. We're even further away now. I'm hoping I can keep us fed and watered." He said with a shrug. "That's about it though."

Changed looked over at Once, "So what about this demon?"

"Sure." He stepped in and headed straight to the couch. "So, man, what's new?"

"Not much. Part of the reason we left was because the town kicked us out... guess some memories die hard." He added as he followed Once.

"You did a little, but I'm used to that. What do you mean, 'you think' you had a good time?"

"Sorry for worrying you Mini. And I'm not sure what I meant by that."

"Hey, Chance. Been a while."

"Sure has. Come one in? Astro's playing in his room and the zoo is occupied."

A few hours later, he came knocking on the door.

Changed opened the door and smiled. "Hey Once."

"Why would I be mad? I wander all over the place for fun." Mini grinned. "Speaking of that, you guys have a good time?"

"Heh. We kinda disappeared on you." He said with a shrug. "I think we did."
