Penelope was stunned to say the least, a very apparent expression of confusion prominently displayed on her face. âYou got on the Quidditch team?â She asked in disbelief, mostly for clarification. âHow did you manage that?â Her sudden surprise had been wiped for a clear indication of pride. âThatâs awesome Max! Congratulations!â Penelope looked up to him, a large smile pulling at her lips. âIâm really proud of you.â Of course, she had always been head over heels for him, but after they had slept together, things just seemedâŠdifferent between them. That didnât mean her feelings werenât still there, because she felt her heart race at the look he gave her and butterflies filling her stomach.
âYeah but I didnât really mean to...â he said. âI just..played. Itâs not all that hard if you know how to fly a broom, I donât understand where all the fuss is about.â he muttered. He was a bit surprised at her excited reaction. âYou are?â he asked surprised as she told him she was proud of him. âOh...well thanks I guess.â he said while scratching his head. âI guess I didnât expect it to be such a big deal. Will you come and cheer me on then?â
