In order to defeat a great threat, the ninja merge with their elements (like how Nya did at the end of seabound). They save the day but doing this leads to them losing themselves and their memories of one another, fading into their respective elements.
This au takes place way into the future. Enough time has passed that ninjago is almost incomparable to how it used to be. This is in part due to the ninja settling into their new forms and creating their own domains. All that is left of the times before is the last ninja, Pixal.
In this au, Pixal has gone through major updates to ensure that her mind and her memories remain intact. She no longer has one body but multiple, connected by a network as expansive as the internet, with servers hidden across the realm and giving her access to any location in and out of ninjago.
Unable to bring back her friends at this point as they are too intertwined with their elements and the world, she instead seeks to form connections with them and maybe even spark some amount of recognition. In her efforts, she has become a myth of her own and the last remnant of the old ninjago.
I don't have much of a central plot for it, just a series of interconnected stories centering on Pixal's efforts, the new ninjago world, how Pixal interacts with it and all her feelings on the whole situation.
Questions are absolutely welcome as I am pretty stumped on how exactly this whole thing would go and need some help kicking up the ol' brainstorm.
I also have a darker and more dramatic version of this au that I'm going to post later. I have more ideas for that version so stay tuned.

Was thinking about a post that talked about how a transformer's personality is shown through their alt mode.
And while I agree, I'm struggling to think of anything for the vehicular characters.
Like I could go on about how g1 Megatron being a gun showcases his origins of being a protector (guns were made originally for protection), his decline into violent madness (guns being a symbol of war and its history of harm), even his pride (weapons are often used as symbols of pride).
But Optimus? Him being a truck symbolises his heavy burden and capability of carrying it and that he's strong. But that feels kinda basic, like what does a truck even mean?
And I don't even know what to say about the fliers. They're fast? Some are strong, some are big? The best I can say is for Twitch with her drone form being about how she's carefree and a kid while also highlighting her role in the war.
I've talked to some people on discord but I'm interested in more responses. You could even talk about another transformer, the more the merrier.
Stop excluding your own community, stop making things worse for people you see as below you. things will never get better for us if the people that are supposed to be our allies are indistinguishable from right wing bigots.
Aromantic/asexual people are capable of facing discrimination for their identity. They deserve to be represented in the lgbtq+ community.
Transmedicalism is just another way of excluding transgender people from a space they are supposed to feel welcome in. You are not "more transgender" because you experienced gender dysphoria or because you have access to expensive and invasive medical procedures.
Non-binary people are valid and are able to experience gender dysphoria, especially in a society that is so hyperfocused on gender roles, and the expectations that come with them.
Things have been getting notably shittier, and public support for our rights are getting less and less common, as conservatives continue to target marginalized groups of people. We are once again reminded that the only people we can trust for support is ourselves.
So no, you're actually not fucking helping anyone by creating harsh boundaries between what is ok and what isn't, you're just forcing us into oppression.

There was clearly no mother involved so FSM must have given birth to them himself.
It would be so funny if Wu didn't know that not everyone had both organs and was just giving everyone strange advice and doing strange things like stocking the monastery with pads when it was still just Jay, Cole and Zane.

Been thinking some multiversal tmnt ideas and while rewatching MM tmnt, I had some headcanons.
These are just my attempts at characterising them by highlighting their personalities and contrasting them against their counterparts specifically Rise and 2012. I've only watched a bit of 2003 and the 80's turtles so they don't have a major factor in my thought process.
-They're quadruplets. Unlike other iterations, they don't have a specified ranking. If they had to give anyone the title of older brother, it's Leo and it's just when they want to give him the blame. Honestly, he's more designated finger pointer. The title of youngest shifts around based on the most whiny turtle at the time.
-Leo's style of leadership is by encouragement. He knows them best and he leads best when he's hyping them up instead of trying to convince them. He hasn't realised this tho so he's still in his dork era of trying to be batman. I feel 2012 Leo is a more decisive and authoritative leader while Rise Leo simply guides his team, planning around their actions and coordinating them.
-Raph's fear response is to flee. He likes fighting and being the victor but when something comes up that he can't beat he is the 1st to pull out. When they first met April and she was yelling at them, his reaction was to leave. When Superfly was rampaging, he was the 1st to suggest heading home.
-While I do believe that Raph gets annoyed easily and is snarky, I don't think he has anger issues. I just feel he gets overexcited about fighting and that makes him jump head first without thinking. I feel this was best showcased in tales of tmnt s2 where he was so wrapped up in fighting he became oblivious to everything around him. They keep saying he's angry in the movie but he just seems eager to me.
-Donnie's seemingly innate skill in driving could mean he's got a talent for figuring machines out. Maybe he's not making big machines like other Donnies but he's quick to decipher the workings of things faster. Also, he's got the best social skills out of every other Donnie. He's better at fitting in while other Donnies tend to stand out.
-I feel that Raph, due to his love for fighting, would be more into ninja training than Leo with the right mentor. Raph tends to get impatient when he feels the lessons are slow and would then become snarky. Leo, on the other hand, is mostly doing it to impress whoever's teaching them. I feel with right guidance, Raph could really fall in love with ninjitsu and other martial arts.
-Mikey doesn't have much going for him and I mean this in a good way, stick with me. Unlike 2012 Mikey, his brothers aren't as serious so there isn't a need to be the comedic centre and there's no distinct sibling ranking like in Rise so he's not the de facto baby. I also don't feel he's the heart of the group- the more optimistic and sometimes empathetic member, sure, but not its passionate core. I don't think they have a core, they're more flexible in their dynamic. Instead, he mostly does his own thing and doesn't really have his own solid identity like his brothers. It's why he does improv. He feels a little insecure about it but doesn't realise that it makes him the grounding force of the group. He's their base line, when one of them starts to go too far or get in their own head, he acts like a calm to their storm. He's also able to shift into a role when it's needed: his brothers are being apathetic to a situation, he's more empathetic; the group doesn't know how to interact with an external entity, he's the first to hold out a hand (he was the one who suggested the pizza hangout with April). The most impressive part is how he doesn't change who he is and how subtle it is.
-I feel that the Mikey counterparts, if they ever met, would struggle to truly vibe with each other. They won't fight but they may put on their most positive masks, accidentally rub each other's wounds and not really be too vulnerable with each other (I'm thinking of 2012 and rise Mikey mostly). MM Mikey wouldn't have this problem as he doesn't have a super attached role so he's more vulnerable naturally. (I don't know how to explain it. I'll expand on it more in another post hopefully).
These are just my opinions. I'm not saying one is better than the other. I'm just setting the groundwork for my multiversal tmnt au ideas.
I'm open to other headcanons and constructive criticism is super welcome.
i’m currently writing a fanfic on a03 titled, “Purple Raine”. i’m bad at summaries but it’s basically where jax performs as a drag queen in an adventure, it becomes his (her) trans awakening. she realizes she’s in love with pomni overtime as well. i’m gonna try covering a lot of different insecurities that would commonly come with situations like these, for example, when you’re someone like jax who uses masking as a coping mechanism but simultaneously wanting to be yourself and figure out if your crush wouldn’t like you as a different gender.

As you guys know, I tend to keep to myself when we’re working on Welcome Home and only come out of my hermit’s burrow to give us all an update! This is that!
Unfortunately for May, the workload has been more than anticipated, so I didn’t have time to properly produce a Minute with Wally like I hoped I could…! I hope this will suffice instead! (We also hope to do one next month if things improve!)
The next Merchandise drop is in the works too and it’s so so so sweet! It very much matches a very particular fellow! I’m also happy to write that most everything is available in our merch store found on the website! As for this upcoming update, I really want to keep everything a surprise, but I will say we have so much tucked away that we’re eager to share when the time comes! (I love hearing and seeing the reactions we get, it makes everything worthwhile!) It’s funny to say, but much of this year’s workload has been spent on both Eddie’s update and every single update moving forward! (We intend to update twice a year until it's done, if things keep going well enough, for example!)
Also to know… We intend on dropping in the summertime within the next couple of months! Once I feel confident, we’ll offer a proper date! (I have to break our Updately tradition of me being late! I must break the curse of Home)

So, I got an ask from @josiesimblr, and I just decided to do a tutorial-ish post, or whatever you wanna call this, in case anyone is having the same issue, or just wants to know how to use the hyperlink tool on tumblr for your sim stories. It’s really simple!
1. First, you will want to know where the link option is when you go to make a post. It is the little infinity looking symbol highlighted below. All you need to do to use it, is highlight the text or phrase of text that you want to make into a link. In this case we are just going to highlight the word “Beginning”.
2. Secondly, you will need to get your link! To do that, just find the post that you need via your dash (in our tutorial example, the beginning post, or first post of your story). To get the url, just go to the top right corner of your post and hover, you will get a little dog-ear and if you click it, it will open a new page in a new tab on your profile. That will give you the url for that particular post.
3. Copy the url from your newly opened post page.
4. Then paste the url into the hyperlink box on your new post.
5. So now you have made a link! Just repeat this same process for “Next” and “Previous”, finding the corresponding posts you need to make your links work chronologically. When people use your links, they should now be able to move fluidly through your story, from episode to episode, in the order you would like them to be viewed.
Formatting: I format mine as follows:
Next | Previous | Beginning
I use the strike-through font on “Next” when I make a new story post, to indicate that this is the most current addition to the story. Then, when I make a new post, I go back to the previous and update “Next” to reflect the newest episode. You can format yours however you’d like! I just do little slashes in between because I think it looks neater xD (I am not sure how to make this slash on an American keyboard, so if you’d like those, just google which key combo to make it on the keyboard of your native language :D).
