Starting to build a survey and plan a research paper!!

I'd love more ideas for questions to ask in the survey and anyone who would like to take the survey to basically beta read it so if it's easy to understand and specific enough please reach out through dms, asks, or comments.

It'll mostly be collecting data in demographics and how alterhumanity affects people's lives. My main hypothesis is that there is a link between alterhumanity and neurodivergence, but that's mostly just to tie it in to my knowledge of psychology.

Note: I will be doing my best to properly follow the scientific method so it can be actually useful scientific research but I'm not an expert so I may make mistakes. I'm just an autistic college student studying science because it's always been a special interest of mine. Once I have the paper finished I would love if more experienced scientists could peer review it.

Sharing my experience discovering my theriotypes because I think there should be more talk of that.

Snow leopard:

I've always climbed every rocklike thing near me

I love the cold and can't sleep unless my room is under 45 degrees (Fahrenheit)

I always get told I act like a cat (hide when sick, knock things over for fun, picky about affection, etc)

I naturally hiss, snarl and make a weird chuffing noise I recently found out was similar to snow leopard vocals

I have phantom shifts of round ears and a really long fluffy tail

I'm naturally more crepescular since I only ever do anything in the mornings and evenings and nap throughout the rest of the day.

I hate being near people for longer than an hour or so a week.

I especially hate dating and feel angry and uncomfortable anytime I try to date. (I make sure never to lash out and as far as I know no one I've dated has ever been made uncomfortable by me.)

All of my life I've been told I seem strange.

I seem out of place near people. My face doesn't move right. My fingers bend strangely. My stare is unsettling. My sentences don't make sense. My skin is too pale. My teeth are too sharp. My eyes won't stay one color. My ideas are odd.

I don't seem human.

Guess I'm a bit too obvious.

Being alterhuman is so strange.

Yeah there's just a seal on the bus heading to go teach kids to swim. Yeah there's a snow leopard that just signed up for a rock climbing class. Yeah there's a Vampire walking to classes and resisting the urge to bite people in the crowds. Yeah there's a rabbit that's scared to order their own food at the restaurant but their too old to get help now.

But all anyone sees is a human seeming strange.

All they see is someone who never wants to leave the water. They see someone who sits at the top of cliffs for hours. They see someone who stares blankly from a distance, never getting close. They see someone thumping their feet under the restaurant table.

Are there any fictionkins for dragons from httyd that aren't night furies? I've literally only seen night furies, and they're all pretty cool but I wanna hear from some other dragons.

I finally get the doubles dni thing. I found a Will Solace double and it is so uncomfortable. It's like if someone stole your fucking identity and wore your skin and just hi I'm *your name* nice to meet you. Like sure your nice but it's creepy as fuck.

On the other hand, people from my same source (especially Nico) is amazing and I am trying my best to befriend every single one I find.

Has anyone made prey therian centered places? I'm just so tired of all the predator centered communities everywhere.

I am also a predator but sometimes I feel way more like prey and there's basically nothing that is about prey specific things :(

Marine therians really need to get more focus, because wtf do you do for gear if you're a fish? Has anyone figured out how to swim like different animals (ie seals, turtles, octopi, sharks, etc)?

Also I need more inspo for ocean room decor so it can look more like going underwater but everything is beach themed not underwater themed :(

Weird question for fictionkins

So I just see bubble from tadc as my tourettes. Does that count as identifying as bubble?? Or is there a term for feeling like your disorder is a specific character. Or feeling like you are possessed by that character.

I fucking hate having tourettes.

There is pretty much no representation and even when there is I can't interact with the media because it'll trigger my tics. Like wtf. I'd love more books and movies and really anything with characters that have tourettes but it'll just be a new thing I have to avoid.

I already can't watch anything with the amazing digital circus because everything bubble says immediately becomes a tic. Bubble doesn't even have tourettes!

For some reason I have been in denial about being a spidermankin for around three years now and finally decided fuck it.

Instead of facing the fact I only identify with some spider aspects that conviently are the aspects Spiderman has I just went welp I'm just a spider.

Why am I such an idiot? I fully wear a Spiderman suit under my clothes everytime it's not super hot because it feels right and lowers my anxiety.
