These two people do not know each other. At least, Tebrun doesn’t know them. But he could roll with pretty much any sort of conversation. Context? Don’t need it. He loves talking to people.

“That’s what people say about aliens too, isn’t it? But I bet plenty of people have seen those around.”

It wasn’t the strangest conversation she had ever had with a stranger and it certainly wouldn’t be her last, she was just glad to find someone to entertain her thoughts. Gala smiled at the mention of aliens.

“Oh, aliens are real. I haven’t met one but there are too many tales for them not to be. Maybe I’ll believe Ted is the Zodiac someday too. What about you? Do ou believe in them too?”

Gala hummed and nodded, the other had a point.

“I do want to believe, I just feel like there's something missing that we aren’t seeing yet.”

he should know by now that she wouldn’t judge him for his breakdowns– they’d been through it before, after all. she cared far too much to be judgmental like that. one hand idly tried to rub soothing circles upon chev’s back as maya listened, nodding every so often. “sounds like something i’d have done as a kid.” the smallest of smiles flits across her lips. given the chance, she probably would have been taken by the fae as a kid, too.

he appreciated her attempts at comfort and found a peace in it. there was a small smile that came to his features and he nodded. “sometimes. . . sometimes you remind me of her, just some of the things you say and do. i know you both would have gotten along. . . i got captured not long after that, i was kept as a prisoner and by the time i got out she--” this was where it got hard. “the whole village had burned down. no survivors.”
