while they have a very strong stomach and mind, the massacre at the luna eclipse building during the tsukiyama extermination is one of the few cleanup jobs that has seriously impacted them; there was so much death on both sides, ghoul and human, and so much was exceptionally violent. it was a tragedy, even for someone fine with the killing of ghouls.

that cleanup haunted them for weeks, and was one of the few assignments to make them nauseous since they first started.

setsuna is almost a stereotypically perfect person for their job; their apartment itself is small and monochrome and pristine, with any "clutter" carefully organized and tucked away should they need anything. it's all simple lines and shades of white and grey, but it's comfortable—to them, at least. it can feel uninviting to people who are put-off by those aesthetics, and to people who don't know setsuna well (those who do might just regard their small home with a fondness that it's obvious that they should live like that).

of course, they are only almost perfect, and what gets in the way is their emotions. while they can come across as a hardass (and have been called that many times), stress that threatens them or theirs can unravel them and their exterior. this is why they are not an investigator; their temperament isn't right for the continuous danger that job provides.
