The Grishaverse Big Bang has returned. Pack your bags, because signups are now open.

What is it?

The Grishaverse Big Bang is a fan-run event where writers, artists, and edit makers work together to bring the Grishaverse to life! We’re looking for creators that are willing to invest their time into this project and are able to collaborate with others to create a successful project. Gangs will consist of one writer, a beta reader (if desired), and at least two artists and/or edit makers.

Who can participate?

Anyone! Creators of all levels of experience can participate. Even if you aren’t a content creator (writer, artist, or edit maker) you can still sign up to be a beta reader.

A/N: Finally our work for this year’s @grishaversebigbang is here!!!! This has been waiting in our drafts for literally a year, and we finally get to throw it out for the whole zoyalai fandom to read. When @wafflesandkruge first came up with the 1960s spy au I literally went  👀, that’s when I knew I was already sold. This was one of the best premises I know bc the vibesTM. Now we get to share it with y’all. I hope everyone would appreciate Tiff’s masterpiece of an au. It has all the tropes you could ask for. T-T

Zoya Nazyalensky was left with no choice but to work for the organization that held her family’s fate in their hands. Even as she rose through the ranks and gained respect, failure was still inevitable. And when she happens to blow one crucial mission because of her poor judgment, the reputation she’d worked so hard to build crumbles to nothing. 

Everything gets you in the end.

Nikolai Lantsov prided himself as an expert of “complicated acquisition”, until he was caught by the CIA and offered an ultimatum: work for them or spend his life behind bars. But after failing the last mission that would have finally let him walk free, his contract with them is extended.

The two spies are forced to work together to thwart a threat to world peace. Despite knowing it can only end in tragedy, they find their history pushing them dangerously close to each other again, even letting their bruised hearts hope that there could be something for them after all this.

Inside was a passport and other documents identifying her as “Louise Carter,” a recently married American secretary. Zoya wrinkled her nose. American? She snuck a glance over at Nikolai’s file. Nick…Carter.

She shot to her feet.

“Married? To that womanizer?”

“Zoya, my wife? She’s going to shoot me in my sleep, and there goes your best agent.”

“Don’t flatter yourself,” Zoya said with a sniff, “I wouldn’t waste a bullet on you.”

“You’re not my best agent,” Juris said flatly.

this animated poster idea has lived in my mind rent free since february so i’m really happy to finally share it, i learned many things while making this poster and i’m specially proud of it.

what can i tell you about the all mighty ✨ gang 2 ✨ you guys are amazing, tiff and am you are fantastic writers, i loved this fic since the moment i read the prompt, knowing all the time and dedication behind it makes me really proud of you two for finally posting it.

this poster has 30 frames and i hated every minute i spent slicing the text frames but it would have been much worse without our productivity hours and our beloathed groovy 💖

to my fellow materialki, you are so very talented and skilled in what you do, i felt really lucky to have spent these months creating with you and admiring your beautiful art.

a/n: welcome to ch.1 of lrpd!! super excited to finally get to the characters y’all know and love and we hope y’all love the story as much as we do 🥰

Nikolai dreamed he was finally free. 

Free to decide where he wanted to go. Free to do as he wanted without someone breathing down his neck. Free to live each day without worrying if it’d be his last. But his dream was nothing more than a distraction as he made his way through the baron’s manor. He flexed his fingers, anticipation thrumming in his blood.

He was on yet another thrilling job involving ‘complicated acquisition’.

Or just theft, though he disliked that term very much. What he did wasn’t the same as snatching a wallet from some unsuspecting pedestrian or palming something off a store shelf when no one was watching. 

Theft is theft, his employer’s voice echoed in his mind. And let me remind you, we caught you. You’re not half as clever as you think you are. 

Nikolai wrinkled his nose at the memory, suddenly feeling hot under the guard’s uniform he was wearing as a disguise. Juris was always a stickler for protocol, regardless of where Nikolai’s skillset lay. He shook his head to clear it and focused on the task at hand.
