Blood status: Half-blood. Her father, Andreus Blackwing, was a wizard who married her unknowing mother, Mary Prewitt. This is where her magical blood comes from.
Backstory: Her father died from lung cancer when she was 5 years old, causing her mother to turn to alcohol to relieve the pain. While not physically abusive- her mother became neglectful and occasionally verbally abusive, making school where Violet received the most nourishment and calm during her childhood. She turned to books to help her cope, getting lost within their pages, and learning about the world. When she got older she also tended to her mother when she wasn't in school. She prays she'll be okay while she's at Hogwarts.
