when i tell people how i got good with drawing, i get the same reaction that saitama gets when he told genos how he got super powerful. when I first started drawing i couldn’t draw for shit. i traced printed dragon ball z posters everyday until one day…i realized i wasn’t tracing anymore, i was doing it from memory.

EXCITING NEWS

if you’re not a patron because obviously they’ve known about this for a while

I’ve been feeling kind of squicky lately. On one hand I’m literally blubbering with joy and gratitude that you like my work enough to toss your hard earned $ my way for the comics I’ve been making. On the other hand, I really enjoy putting content out for free. Hiding some of my proudest work so far behind a paywall makes me feel just a bit crap. So I’ve spent the past few months wracking my brain over how to put out free content for everyone, tell the silly stories I’ve got bumping around in my noggin, and still pay my bills.

The conclusion I’ve come to?

I’m launching a webcomic about the foxes.

This is all super experimental and a bit nerve wracking, but I’m really excited for this new challenge, and I hope you guys will like it too.

I’ll be posting five days a week here, but i’m sure you realize tumblr isn’t exactly optimized for comic posting, or longform comic reading. So on Fridays I’ll be updating in batches on Webtoons! (Where the prologue is already posted, so click that link if you’re impatient!)

I’ll also be revamping my PATREON this coming week to make it easier to support doing this comic. I’ll be keeping things about a week ahead of schedule on Patreon, so if you like being the first person to get updates, or if you’re just a kind soul who wants to make it financially viable for me to post this stuff for free for everyone, please head over and check it out.

I’ve got, really no clue how webcomics work, or what I’m doing here, so I hope you’ll bear with me as I either get a hold of the steering wheel or crash and burn. Either way it should be fun to watch right?

This post never fails to make me smile, but it always makes me think. I know it started as a playful joke but look how people reacted! They joined on and added fanart. They were kind and respectful.

Now imagine this is someone (likely a kid) thats just starting to explore art! Imagine if we all reacted like this to their “ cringey ” ocs and wonky anatomy doodles!!! Do you know how happy and inspired they would be? I just wish more people built up young artists because if we keep criticizing them and telling them their art isnt good enough you know what thats going to do? Make them not want to create, be ashamed of what they do, and feel bad about liking things.

I would rather take 15-20 mins out of my life to sketch somebodys oc then take 2 seconds and post a hurtful comment

Where the hell can i find a girl like you? Your husband is a lucky man to have someone so chill.

So we’re staying with a friend in Venice for this last leg of the vacation right? 

And my husband has been cranky because it’s hot and he doesn’t handle muggy/warm weather well. And he’s doing all these bratty things that say ‘I want you to top me a little bit but I don’t want to Ask you to top me’. So in the middle of him calling me stinky and other silly bratty things, I turn on some sexy music. 

I go stand at the end of the bed and start casually stripping, and he goes quiet. I’ve got his attention now. It’s storming outside, lightning and thunder and wind whipping the curtains on the windows in our friends spare room. Very romantic, very dramatic. 

My husband is a pretty big boi, but I’m quite strong, and quite good at putting him Exactly where I want him to be when I feel like it. (Making big guys feel small and powerless is kind of my kink in case that wasn’t obvious) So I don’t hesitate for a second, I lean over the bed in all my moonlit glory, grab him by both ankles and YANK him halfway down the mattress so it’ll be easier to climb up and sit on his face.

Except I didn’t realize the bed has wheels. 

This thing comes slamming MACH 10 Warp Speed into my shin and Wrecks my fucking shit- 

The husband hasn’t noticed, he’s completely 

So I climb up onto his face and do my thing and he is LOVING it except I can’t actually enjoy any of it because my shin has been shattered to a thousand pieces and I’m wondering if I’m bleeding all over the sheets and this pain is like seeing-stars level SEARING. I’m no quitter though, so I stay up there for about ten minutes before the pain is too much and I climb back off and roll over and grab a book and he’s staring at me and he says “Is that… is that it? Do you want me to-”“No.”

and then I catch myself and throw in a

“I just wanted to Remind you who you Belong to. You can go back to browsing facebook now.”

And he flops over onto his back and heaves this happy sigh 

and hits me with the “As if there was Any Question!” So Now I have to 

because he can’t ever know that I’m a fucking FRAUD
