Hello, you can call me Nova. This blog will pretty much be exclusively Star Wars. Prequels, Originals, and the upcoming Sequel trilogy. I'm new to the fandom, I've only been really into it for about six months so I've got a lot of catching up to do.

AU where instead of outright rejecting anakin’s offer to overthrow the emperor, padme accepts it with the intent of    drawing him back to   the path of the good man she knows him to be. she’s not quite certain how she’ll do it, but she simply cannot bear to lose HOPE in the man she fell in love with.

Hogwarts Anidala AU

I feel like Anakin should be in Hufflepuff (and nothing will ever convince me otherwise) but for Padme I'm torn between making her a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. 

And what would their patroni be? I have a huge love of patronus charms.

Why did no one tell me this existed? It's perfect.

Shmi Skywalker, named after her paternal grandmother is a total trainwreck in just about every since of the word. 

She is as powerful as both her older siblings but she has trouble harnessing her abilities to the maximum level which leaves people to believe she's only half trying, which causes her no lack of frustration and at times anger. 

Unlike Leia who just is able to hold back the anger brewing underneath her quick wit and sharp tongue Shmi has no such graces. She lacks Leia's decorum and often puts her mouth in her foot and let's her temper get the best of her. 

She's extremely emotional, both in a good and a bad way. She is the type who needs a good cry more often than the average schmoe. 

In some ways she feels lost and wandering, like she's searching for something. What? She has no idea, but she needs it. 

By nature she is defiant and rebellious, more often than not just for the sake of being defiant and rebellious. She can be confrontational as well if she feels affronted in even the slightest way. 

On the other end of a spectrum when she's in a good mood she positively glows and is as charming as it gets. She has an earnestness about her, a bare truth that appeals to some people. 

She is well aware she has a purpose in this world but she is stumbling along the path to find it. 

Until she finds inner peace, and maybe even after that she will be a walking volcanic eruption.

In an AU where Anakin doesn't go cuckoo-bananas I'm inclined to agree with several people on here who seem to believe the Skywalkers would have more children. At least one more, I feel certain of saying that. I also agree like several on here that if their third child was another daughter it would get the name Shmi.

I am in love with so many AUs that I'm not sure which one to concentrate on. 

I love the Reincarnation AU which I have named Silhouettes, but truthfully there are so many more that I adore. I will try to focus my energy and obsessive - ness on Silhouettes for now, tho.

I can’t write but I really think I’m taking a huge amount of inspiration from ani-sandals and am making a fully realised, if only in my mind, alternate universe reincarnation Anidala.

Rene for Padme, perhaps? It means reborn in French, apparently. I did not just look up name meanings. I'm not sure why you would think that I did. 

For Anakin I would have loved to imagine his reborn name being Christian but that name has officially been skeeved out for me. So I'm open to any and all suggestions for Anakin that don't give me FSOG flashbacks.

Following my reincarnation au in which only reborn Padmé would be the only one to get her memories of her past life back…

Can you freakin’ imagine how hard it would be for her? How hard it would be for her not to fall in love with reborn Anakin again? How hard it would be not to knock him the fuck out for sins he doesn’t know his past self did?

This needs to be done. I can see Padme just snapping under the stress of how her life turned out the first-go and walking up to an unsuspecting Anakin and punching him as hard as she can. Meanwhile he'd be like WHAAAAT DID I DOOO?!
