Someone tried to scam me today on Tumblr.

While doing my daily social media rounds—Discord, email, Tumblr yes I have an order shoutout neurodivergence one time—I got a DM from a Tumblr account I’d never heard of.

This human being thought it wise to notify me that they and all their friends reported me, and my account was now in danger of getting shut down unless I contact this specific Discord handle and

My sibling in [insert appropriate deity, prophet, governing universal force, or even nothing here], I come from the internet age of Nigerian princes who just want you to wire them $500 and will give you $50,000 once they reclaim their thrones.

I once killed a desktop computer with a big old clunky monitor by clicking on something I probably shouldn’t have on Facebook or a pirating site. I looked up how to remove the ransomware I got and managed to make the machine work for three more months until she finally gave up.

But sure, buddy. I absolutely believe you and your friends all reported me to the Tumblr Popo and I’m going to be IP banned never mind that I have a VPN. Just to be safe, I’ll contact your not at all suspicious Discord handle of tumblrsupport or whatever it was.

You just have to give me the secret password first.

I think "fuck you, I hate your work and I will do it myself and I will do it better" is a really funny and epic sentiment. i started publishing poetry because an ex boyfriend of mine was publishing really ass poetry in a bunch of journals and I was like "Jesus christ, this is garbage, I could do that, and I could do it better." now I have a page in the Academy of American Poets and I've published a full length collection and his website says "former poet." You should win by succeeding way harder than they do. Spite is a legitimate energy source.

They may look like brothers from another anime, but they are not the same.

American-breathing twink gets isekaied and turns it into a vacation where he collects boyfriends like Pokemon cards. His collection features a super tall shy boy, the emo bad boy who dresses all in black, Mr. Freeze but shorter and more magic, and a literal snake.
