It’s fucking stupid, is what it is. I swear humans make it their goal to look as ridiculous as possible sometimes.
Though the same can probably be said for some robots, too.

“What do you think?” Tengu grinned mischiviously as Charge glared at him. “Ooh, someone’s getting mad.” Tengu grinned. It was no wonder to anyone why Tengu was widely hated, he seemed to be enjoying this confrontation.
The only response given was laughter, and a Tengu that just got some dirt kicked up in his face. He had sidestepped this time, but almost regretted it as he got grime all over his face. Oh well, he can wash it off later. “I’m waiting~” He teased Charge, before diving at him with his blades ready. This was just a feint, he’d try to dodge if Charge attempted to grab or attack him.
“You'll be losing more than just your legs when I’m done with you.” Charge let out a hearty puff of smoke in lieu of a derisive snort, turning and charging back towards Tengu again the instant he came to a stop. He didn’t seem to care about the blades coming towards him, pulling an arm back in preparation to try to punch the 8th gen out of the air. True to his theme, Charge was already tunnel-visioning - he was going to land a blow on the little bastard, and he wasn’t going to stop until he did.

“Oops.” Tengu mocked, jumping over the train once again. This time he sent a small Tornado Hold to kick up some dust in Charge’s face. He knew it probably didn’t affect him very much, other than being annoying. But that was pretty much the entire point. “But what would be the point if I did?” Tengu mocked, grinning. What a fun game of tag!
Yet another grating screech filled the air as Charge came to a halt a second time, though this time it was accompanied by some expletives as he brushed the dust out of his face. “Are you even taking this seriously??”
The train grit his teeth, turning to give Tengu an angry wide-eyed stare. Maker, it felt like nobody ever took him seriously. The clouds of smoke escaping his chimney slowly started to get bigger. “Do you realise what I could fucking do to you??”
Tengu barely had time to respond before he was charging towards him once again.

Oh, hell yes! The fifth just charged right at him, what a start! (unoriginal pun intended) This fucker was only a little bit faster than he thought, so with ease, he simply jumped over the speeding locomotive, landing lightly a small distance away. “Missed~” He said teasingly. The eighth still made no move to attack him, just put his arms behind his head confidently and grinned in an annoying manner. “Come on Tommy, you can do it!” he said, grinning at the quote. Just how mad could he get him?
An earcap splitting screech filled the air as Charge hit his brakes, whipping round once he’d come to a stop. He wasn’t at all surprised that Tengu had managed to avoid him... but he was a little surprised that the guy hadn’t even tried to attack him back. Instead he was just stood there, looking like a smug little shit. Whatever, it was his funeral.
“Hold still.” the train growled, not even hesitating before charging towards the 8th gen a second time. He was bound to hit the guy sooner or later, and he was prepared to try for as long as it took.

Tengu only grins wider at Charge’s words. He could already tell that this was going to be entertaining. “That’s true.” Tengu said, smirking in the air, hovering obnoxiously. “But I can still find ways to make this interesting you know.” Tengu finally landed, grinning in preparation as he waited for Charge to make the first move.
He wouldn’t be waiting for long- Charge didn’t even hesitate before living up to his name, launching himself towards Tengu the instant he touched ground. The 8th gen was more agile than he was, sure, but Charge knew a solid blow to his chassis was all it’d take to put him out of action. Few things could stand up to a direct collision with a train, especially one whose temperature was just climbing and climbing.
...Well, it was all dependant on if he actually hit the fucker, of course. Charge wasn’t expecting it to be that easy, so he was prepared to hit the brakes the moment it seemed Tengu was going to dodge him.

Charge didn’t even need to watch for Tengu. Tengu was flashy, and noisy even more so. The sound of his jets probably reached Charge’s earcaps well before he saw Tengu, though they quieted down once Tengu approached and hovered a few feet above Charge, armor on, but mask off.
A grin spread across his face upon seeing the vengeance radiating from Charge’s eyes. Excitement bubbled through him a bit as he looked Charge up and down. “Hey.” He finally said, casually, smiling all the while. Tengu hoped Charge as pissed as he thought he was. It was so much more fun that way.
Charge clenched his fists almost subconsciously when Tengu made his presence known. What he wouldn’t give to be able to just reach up and grab the little shit.
“Wipe that smile off your fucking face.” he said gruffly, once again internally cursing the fact his lack of a neck meant he had to lean back a little in order to actually look at Tengu. Still a damn sight better than being small and flung through the air, at least. “I’m in my body now. You can’t pull the same shit you did last time.”
Ugh, this was going to be a problem if Tengu was going to stay in the air the entire time. Maybe he’d be able to knock him out of the sky with a white-hot chunk of coal.

Honestly? Charge wasn’t anywhere near as pissed off as he’d been the last time he’d seen Tengu. He’d calmed down since that particular incident, but that didn’t mean revenge wasn’t still on his mind. Revenge for that humiliating flight, revenge for dismembering Concrete and revenge for ruining the one chance he’d had to go out into the city and have a good time. Ugh, just thinking about it was making his metaphorical blood boil. Just as well he was going to have an outlet for it soon enough.
The train left a trail of smoke behind him as he stormed out of the fortress’ entrance, keeping an eye out for Tengu all the while. Part of him knew he was in for a rough time - the eighth gen was considerably more mobile than he was - but that same part of him also didn’t really give a fuck. He’d knock him out of the sky and beat the shit out of him one way or the other, and finally show that little bastard exactly what he thought of him.
Concrete shrugged at the question, feigning ignorance. Charge’s affirmation lightens the atmosphere a little, and the android could see the faintest glimmer of imagination stirring up in the locomo-bot’s face. Those tiny signs always stirred up something warm in Concrete’s belly. It was nice.
“Man, deserve is kind of a stupid word.” Concrete turns his attention to picking up debris in the mess and categorizing them. “I didn’t give you a second chance because you deserved it, I gave it to you because I learned a long time ago that the alternative just makes everyone miserable.” He snorted. “Heh, I tried to convey that to the Blade guy, but he just wasn’t having any of it.”
From somewhere in the mess, Concrete produces a haggard tin tool box. It clinks hollowly as he shakes the emptiness and dust from inside it. “I accepted your unspoken apology years ago, so don’t worry about it. It’s kinda complicated, but you did me a favor by pushing my shit in that time, anyway.”
“How the hell was that doing you a favour?” Charge furrowed his brow a little in confusion, watching the Light ‘bot for a few moments before starting to move some stuff himself. “I’m amazed you were even repaired at all, let alone in such a short span of time. I thought for sure nobody was going to find you for at least a few weeks.”
Jeez, weird to think it’d been close to two years since then. Weird to think he’d once felt so much vitriol towards the guy. He probably shouldn’t have been surprised he’d come off as unhappy.
“...Either way, you’re the only friend I’ve ever really had, so I’m glad I didn’t put you off. I guess.” He couldn’t help but mutter that part, feeling more than a little stupid. He still wasn’t quite accustomed to being open about things that didn’t involve being angry. “This also probably goes without saying, but I’d rather nobody find out about... you know. All of this.”

“Yeah man!” Concrete sweeps his arms wide and gestures to the dump. “Think about it! We could make this entire place covered in fuckin’ train paraphernalia with scale environments and shit.”
A thick finger moves along the contours of the rubbish as if to carve out the scenes in his mind’s eye: “Like over here we could put a segment dedicated to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad,” he said, gesturing to a mound of twisted steel and plastic pipe. “–and over here maybe the London and – uh. Well, maybe English railroads are off the table, considering. Heh.” He grinned sheepishly.
Rubbing his nose vigorously, Concrete could still smell the faintest hint of burning coal dust in the air. “You don’t have to though. I realized it a while ago, I kinda have this problem where I habitually try to uh… give people places to stay when they seem kinda miserable heh…”
“Do I really come off as miserable?” Angry, sure, but miserable? Then again, he guessed if he was so irritable all the time then he wasn’t exactly happy, was he. “No, it’s fine, I... like the idea.” He already had a few little models and things that his brothers had swiped for him over the years (despite his claims that he didn’t collect them), but his room wasn’t exactly the most spacious of places, so the garage was a step up in that regard. Spending time fixing the place up with Concrete definitely sounded more appealing than wandering round the fortress looking for things to do, at any rate.
He fell silent for a moment or two before speaking up again, glancing around and trying to think of some ideas of his own for the place. “...Look, I know I never exactly do a good job of showing it, but I appreciate what you do for me.” He probably would’ve awkwardly scratched his neck here if he’d had one, but as it was he settled with just looking away instead. “I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve it, but I’m glad you gave me a chance. Even after I... you know. Smashed your chest in.” He couldn’t help but wince a little at the memory of that. It hadn’t seemed to really affect Concrete much, but... “I regret doing it. I was an idiot and was convinced you were just making fun of me.”
