the thing about tged webtoon is that the first 100 chapters are uncompromisingly bromance. I was shocked about the complete lack of gaybait, I didn't know manhwas were allowed to do that but they DID and I liked it!! they were exclusively bros!!!
And it's not just me with my het bias, I saw multiple people in the tag having the same experience as me. whereas other manhwas like orv are doing yaoi mind games from the first meeting, it honestly took a shocking amount of time for Javier to warm up to Lloyd. I applaud the author's restraint, it's really a slowburn and quite realistic.
However, somewhere arround the 110 chapter mark Javier goes and starts doing all these insanely homosexual things like. swearing to die for Lloyd. telling him he believes him because he "looks vulnerable" when he tells the truth. all his little episodes of sincere emotional conversation.
calling him the protagonist of the world. telling him he likes his singing better than an ANGELS. swearing to die for him for real for real. wanting to know who Kim Suho is and calling him Suho in his mind and out loud when he finds out his name. bro is clearly so extremely far gone it's embarrassing
Lloyd fell first, but Javier fell harder. Literally. The moment Javier allowed himself to like Lloyd even a little, bro was gone. He slapped the BL tag on so fuckin hard. Doesn't help that Lloyd is so open with how much he trusts and believes in Javier.
