Ugh! As if!

Furiously tapping away at her laptop, Bunny mumbled a pep talk to herself, “Six months to find the dress… How I love a challenge.”

“Wait, only six months? Oh my god, that sounds basically impossible. Please tell me you’ve already started.”

“Wow, that really sounds like the best early Christmas gift. I’m slightly jelly.”

 I’m so ready for it, you totally have no idea. It’s going to be iconic.”

“You have an extra ticket? Are you the fairy god mother of Christmas or something? I’d be happy to come see Adele with you, we’ll cry together- it’ll be an emotional rollercoaster.”

“Duh, of course I do. It’ll be so amazing and we’ll have, like, the most fun ever.

“That is an amazing early Christmas present. Adele’s voice is a gift to mankind, just promise me one thing- that you’ll wear waterproof mascare because I doubt there will be a dry eye in the house when all is said and done.”

“Oh my god, definitely. There’s no way I’d ever let my makeup be any less than perfection. You know, I totally have an extra ticket if you’re at all interested. There’s nothing like going to an Adele concert with your best friend and crying together, right?”

“The best way to treat yourself to any early Christmas present is definitely buying amazing seats to an Adele concert. Merry early Christmas to me.”

“Extra credit? Some last minute project might help bring it up to a B at the very least.”

“Oh no, I don’t do extra credit. That’s for people who don’t know how to negotiate. And I need at least an A-.”

“Oh I can so tell, a C+! That is an outrage. I highly doubt you’ve done anything to deserve that. We should contest it. I can be there to help and everything.” Ella nodded, quickly. “Please don’t tell me something gorgeous, designer and pink is on the line if you don’t get that grade up.”

“I’m so relieved that you understand how offensive this is. Trust me, I’m more than ready to contest it, and I would absolutely love to have your help.” Char sighed, “It’s possible. My dad was promising me something special if I got all As, and I totally can’t let this C jeopardize it all.”

“A C+?” Ella asked, offended for her fellow blonde. “How did you get a C+? That makes no sense.”

“Right? The professor’s totally harsh, that’s how. I so did not deserve this.” Char sighed, running her hand through her hair. “I have to get my grade up.”

“A C+? Oh no, this is unacceptable. I so need to do something about this.”

How did I not think of inviting the shopping guru? Obviously the turkey got to my head or something. Honestly though. A tag team with the two of us? No one would stand a chance. I mean I saw a little kid beating a middle aged man with a hockey stick so I feel that. How’d you do on Black Friday? Give anyone a black eye?”

I don’t even know, but you’re so forgiven for it this time. Next time you go shopping, I’ll definitely be by your side. Honestly, though, I’m so surprised we haven’t tried it yet. Maybe the world isn’t ready for us to shop together on Black Friday, but we’d kick ass and take names. Oh my god, actually? What were they even fighting over? Definitely not, but I got close when this old lady was trying to steal these fabulous Louboutins right from my hands. As if I’d let her, though.

I’ve tried that and it hasn’t always worked out in the past. I’m starting to think maybe I’m better off on my own, but you know I can’t manage that either because I just end up getting lonely.

I mean, you’re totally going to know what I’m going to say but I’m definitely right about this: you absolutely can handle being on your own because you’re such a strong and fabulous lady who so doesn’t need a man. And screw being lonely, because you have me for, like, eternity, and girlfriends are honestly all you need in life.

I’m also pretty tired of getting messages from people asking me why Adele crossed the road. People need to try and be a little more orginal.

Is it to say hello from the other side? Oh my god, people are so unoriginal. You just need to meet new people the old-fashioned way where people aren’t tacky as everliving hell.

“It would be rude of me to ignore, Marilyn. The original bombshell. She’s such an idol.” Ella shook her head. “I am totally sure. Well, we’re not going to give it away.” Ella grinned. “Okay because you totally pushed it out of me, Taylor Flick and I are totally rounding up Ravenwood girls to be a part of an Advent calendar. Like Love magazine does there’s. We’ll be charging the guys to join in the program where a day they’ll get a Ravenwood beauty. It’s charity and being gorgeous at the same time.”

“Honestly, as if we could.” Char’s eyes lit up. “Oh my god, you’re kidding. I absolutely adore Love! I would actually be so honored to be involved with that. Especially if it’s for charity. ‘Tis the season, am I right?”

I didn’t. I can’t punch an old lady. Even if she did have the strength of a thirty year old man. Though…you never know, it could have been a dude in a disguise. People are capable of anything for a sale.

Aww, you so should have brought me along. We definitely could have taken her on. Or him. Or whatever they are. Literally, though, you never know what a person is capable of until you see them at a Black Friday sale. It’s totally ridiculous.
