Monday evening my team from school arranged a Potluck where we mixed delicious dishes from our countries. I of course made smoked salmon.

I was lucky enough to taste Vietnamese coffee from a friend, check out her blog about happiness here.

She warned me not to drink it at 8 o’clock in the evening, but I did it anyway and it was a real kick.

It reminded me of drip brew coffee since we used brewed Vietnamese coffee and added water.

The condensed milk was a bit too sweet for me, but the coffee was very good. I definitely recommend drinking it in the morning though. Now I really want to try this Vietnamese iced coffee, mostly because of the design.

I would love to get some input and suggestions of where I should go next. Which coffee place should I try out here in San Francisco and which coffee should I order? I am going to Las Vegas this weekend so I am open for some suggestions about places there as well.

This sunny Saturday I went to Réveille Coffee in North Beach to kick-start my weekend of studying.

I chose an Ethiopian Bulga pour-over brewed with plum and grape flavor – absolutely delicious!

The coffee is all green and has a fruity flavor to die for, lovely barista.

Réveille Coffee is groundbreaking in its design and you can get a pour-over or single origin espresso of any coffee on the menu.
