Elsie and I already have our two perfect babies, Davey and Rachel. Personally, I don’t know that I would have the energy for any more….though I don’t mind trying, and I’m sure neither does Elsie.

This was the day that @mrs-hughes decided to make me jealous by going to the fair without me. I enjoyed myself by polishing the silver instead.
It is a good thing we didn’t have the children yet, or she would have had quite the time of it when the two of them each wanted to do something different at the exact same time — especially without me there to handle things with them properly.

The new photos of the management on the hotel’s website. The children wanted to be shown too, but I had to tell them “no”. Neither Davey nor Rachel was happy about that, until @mrs-hughes and I convinced them that it was because they were so gorgeous, it would just make the staff look bad. They accepted this.

Woman of the Week: Elsie Hughes
This week, the Woman of the Week is…Elsie Hughes from Downton Abbey!
What I like about her: She is maternal, and soft with people, but also no nonsense and stern as well. She has authority and will use it, but is also a kind woman who looks after ALL the Downton staff, regardless of personal feelings (the way she looks after Thomas in seasons 3 & 6). A hard worker, liberal-minded and tolerant, as well as an interesting character, she is favourite among all the DA characters!
I would agree with @mrs-hughes being Woman of the Week, but I would make it Woman of the Century. Elsie is amazing!
