Dead project?

Hopefully never! My hands have been tied between a lot of projects lately. Along with some new personal ventures for the sake of improving my skill with the engine! I'd taken some time away to work for another team, to hopefully help me think outside the box a little more. It helped a lot to get some better grasp on how to work with everything! Especially performance! I'm hoping to pick up In-Between with some proper gusto soon, and to show off what I've been working on in the mean time!

I just stumbled upon your game and I wanted to say I really enjoy the bits of inspiration from games like Undertale and the early 2000-2010s nostalgia your project has to offer! Will there be any more updates and how have things progressed since the very early statges of planning?

I'm glad! That fits right around the time I was growing up! Progress is slow, being the only one working full time on the project, and I've still got a lot of learning about the engine and lua to do! Work has been pretty slow lately additionally as, to take a little breather, I'd started working with another dev team for Critterspace for a bit, which let me learn a lot of new things about scripting! All and all, we're truckin a long at a healthy pace! ❤️ Early to now have had a lot of ups and downs! Considering I started using the engine with 0 knowledge of LUA script, or performance optimization, it's required a lot of reworking! But each redo only gets better and better! So I can't complain too much!
