“Not everyone. I know my friend Sally’s gonna think her tree’s the best damn thing since sliced bread when she’s done with it. — Which will probably be true. She doesn’t half-ass anything.”

“Not everyone. I know my friend Sally’s gonna think her tree’s the best damn thing since sliced bread when she’s done with it. — Which will probably be true. She doesn’t half-ass anything.”
"I-is that a good thing o-or a bad thing?"
“Still what?” Lee asked, slightly confused. “I’m not offended you didn’t get my joke.” Lee said, giving her a smile. “If my feelings got hurt every time someone didn’t laugh at one of my jokes, I would lead a very sad existence.”
“What’s his name, darlin’?”
Charlie just shrugged and offered up a small smile. She wasn't too good at the whole 'making friends' thing, that had been Carter and Calleigh's department.
"Conway. C-Conway Hudson."
That’s really nice. No better time for family than Christmas.
"Y-yeah. It's like Ch-Christmas every day."
"Oh that’s right, you’re the Hudson kid —the twins’ younger sister, right? Well look at you all grown up now— time flies."
"Y-yeah I am. Uhm... th-thank you?"
"Yeah, sure, there’s nothing bad about that. Not everybody does, it just always seems weird to me because it’s half my life."
"W-well I think that's b-because it's your job. I m-mean I spend a lot of t-time at the library b-but that's only b-because I w-work there."
"Yet you’re still stuttering."
"I c-can't help it."
"No, you don’t need to. I was just surprised, because I thought everybody these days has been to a gym before."
"Oh. I d-don't really have the t-time."
"What?! You’ve never been to the gym before?"
"N-no. Do I n-need to go?"
"Do you have a stuttering problem or am I just intimidating?"
"Uh, n-no. S-sorry."
"Huh. Of course. Do you, uhm - nevermind. I’m really sorry."
"N-no, what is it?"
"You just always stutter, then?"
"I..uhm."
@charliehudsonx: 1st batch of Christmas presents wrapped + ready.
"I’m a fitness instructor. It’s never really quite at the gym."
"O-oh I've never been."
"The best, huh? Subpar at best, but sure, I’ll take it. Do I get a medal?"
"U-unfortunately not. I d-don't have any."
"Yeah, when is that again? I’ll drop by, see how things are."
"W-wednesday. Christmas Eve."
Are you on your own?
"I-in the house? No I-I live with my m-mom and dad."
“Oh no, trust me… It’s a train wreck. I was thinking of taking it down, but I just couldn’t be bothered to do it right after putting the thing up.”
"Everyone probably believes that about their own Christmas tree, though."
