"Hello and welcome to Great Earth Cafe and Health Shop! I’m Cat, and I’ll be your barista for today." The smile that Cat had on her lips was undeniable; it was as radiant as the sun, just as she was as radiant as the sun. It was, as things went, the friendliest among all those who worked in the little cafe by the shore of Cloverbrook. "For today, might I suggest an espresso — or if that’s not your style, a cappuccino. With the house salad, or a sandwich of your choice, I think you’ll just about have the heartiest meal you’ve ever had. My word. Guaranteed."
"Okay -- woah." One would have immediately regarded the irony of Ted being rendered overwhelmed with - well - everything; especially since she has been working at the local resto down at East as a clerk herself. Her own competence in being suitable to be a food industry employee (or lack thereof) dawned her with every single word that the barista said. In truth, she would rather order a slice of enthusiasm and passion from the lady instead of - "Cup of the, I don't know." Her own words did not escape her in consent, but were rushed and blurted out of speechlessness. "I mean, no -- wait, what tea do you have? Everything here is organic and healthy, right?"
