She laughed at the comment, she knew what the tabloids would say about her. Bitch. Party girl. Some of it wasn’t wrong to a point. “You’re catching me on a good day, obviously. Also tend to be a bit more friendlier when drunk as long as someone doesn’t piss me off.” The woman replied with a light shrug of her shoulders. “But the tabloids are pretty full of shit and don’t know half of what they put out there.”

Oliver smiled and thanked the woman as he was handed the napkins and dabbed away at the drink stain as he followed her to the bar. “Well I’m Oliver, it’s lovely to meet you Charlie.” He hummed a bit as he set his glass down on the bar,”It’s alright love, you don’t have to do that. It was just some whiskey on the rocks, nothing special.” The brit chuckled as he sat down on a bar stool and looked at the woman before it clicked in his head,”Ah! You’re Charlotte Cox, aren’t you?”

“It’s lovely to meet you, too.” She smiled before shaking her head. “It’s the least that I can do. Plus, I have a tab open so might as well use it.” She grinned before ordering them both a drink. She laughed as she heard her full name getting stated from the male, nodding in agreement. “Yes, that is me.” She told him. She thanked the bartender for the drinks and handed Oliver his before sipping on her own.

Oliver had decided to go out to a club for once, he really had no idea why he went alone but he wanted to have a drink and dance so fuck it. He was making his way through the crowd holding a drink when a girl bumped into him, he spilled a little bit of his drink on himself but he didn’t really mind. “Oh no, it’s fine. At least you’re having fun.” He chuckled as he attempted to dab away the stain on his shirt with his finger as if that would work. “You look quite familiar, have we met before love?” He asked with a kind smile as he took in the girls appearance.

Charlie looked up at the taller male, “here.” Charlie said as she shifted and grabbed a few napkins off of a small table near them, handing them to the Brit. “I don’t think so. I’m Charlie,” The brunette stated as she held her hand out. He looked familiar, but she couldn’t place where she had seen him. The city was big, being in the industry she was in, she met more people that she could even count. “What were you drinking? I’ll buy you another.” The woman said before she started heading towards the bar.

Why do people think they can come up to me when you have a kid? They try when I don’t but when you have a kid, it’s like it’s an automatic invitation to like speak to me about my kid. Katherine had decided after a long day and with being a new mom, she’d take up her friends offer and go out for an evening. Standing in the crowded room, a drink in her hand, she talked and sang along to whatever was playing while out with her friends. When bumped into, she dropped her glass. “Fuck!” Hearing the glass shatter and everyone look at her was embarrassing. The voice behind her had her turning around as she kicked her foot around too get the liquid off her shoe. “It’s alright.” Signalling for someone to come clean up the mess, she stood over it and continued to look at the brunette. “It’s rather crowded in here. Don’t worry about it.” 

Charlie nodded in agreement, “it is crowded in here. Overly popular place.” She replied. The brunette smiled, “what were you drinking? I’ll buy you one.” Charlie said as she gestured towards the bar and started walking up to the bar to order them both drinks. “I’m Charlie,” she told the other woman.

Charlie was on a night out with her friend, she was walking around the club. The brunette had just got back into town from a work event and was truly ready to let loose for a night. She was known as a party girl, she was constantly out at the parties. Charlie was dancing to the music as she felt herself bumping into someone behind her. “Oh fuck, I’m sorry.” She let out a laugh as she turned around, hoping that it wasn’t some fan who would sell some story about how horrible of a person she was.
