So.

Positronic Opera, the indie animation show i am working on by myself is coming along well

But that does beg the question.

Do i do a premiere on the first episode or do i just drop it unannounced? A premiere, just in case i need to clarify, is a function on YouTube where you can schedule a video to go out at a certain time, and alert everyone in advance that it is going out so that people can gather and watch it live.

I want to present it well, and i hope it help the initial views. But if the turnout is poor, which... considering the current reception is a very likely scenario... I might go into a depressive episode.

I haven't had one in almost 2 months now, would be a shame to break my streak. but i also feel like just throwing it on YouTube is inappropriate with how much blood sweat and every other fluid (yes, even spinal) is going into this. At the same time the first episode is less than 7 minutes and like... it's my first try at a fully fledged animation since Panzerritter which was a total bust and I'm anxious about under-delivering.

it's a real conundrum.

Do i Premiere the first episode of the positronic opera?

Yes, it's better to build anticipation that way

No, it won't magically get more people interested.

Can you link your YouTube before hand? Having it in every post about Positronic Opera will help in the lead up to the episode airing, people will see it as soon as it’s up
