the more i think abt red the sadder i get.

like every single day of her life she lived in fear. in fear of her own mother. she was constantly mentally and most likely physically abused and there was nothing she could do to stop it UNTIL she got her ticket out and she thought she was finally gonna be free and then her mom stages a coup. and she goes back in time with chloe, a girl who has everything she's ever wanted and who is so annoyingly sheltered that she believes red is a bad person. and she gets to spend time with her mom but it isn't her mom. she's so sweet and genuinely cares about her something the queen never has done. she works so hard to make this woman her mother i'm the future and gets into an argument with the only person (other then maddox) who's ever really seemed to care and chloe tells her she's just like her mom. but fast forward they solve the problem and red thinks she's finally gonna get her happy ending. she gets back and everything is so different. her mom is nice and loves and cares abt her and now reds expected to be someone she doesn't know how to. all the pain and abuse it never happens now and the only person she can talk to is chloe, who will try to help but will never come close to understanding what she's going through.
