I fully believe that when Red and Chloe (FINALLY) start dating (to the relief of literally everyone in existence, Bridget and Ella were concerned they'd have to stage an intervention) The Charming family sits Red down and start grilling her about her intentions with their daughter/sister. They watched this girl grow up and fall in love with their Chloe, they couldn't imagine anybody better but they have to at least try to be scary. Red can't take Charming and Chad seriously but she's absolutely terrified of Ella, because this is her gfs mother (the same one she sentenced of treason so she's treading carefully) giving her the "if you hurt her talk" and she's sitting stock still in this couch not breathing.

When chloe walks in to the room, Red is all but cackling as Chris and Ella are showing the Wonderland princess the most EMBARRASSING baby photos of Chloe (to which she screams and snatches the photo album out of reds hands) and the following conversation ensues

Red: Awww no princess i was looking at those

Chloe: i'm never leaving you alone with my parents ever again

Red: you were a cute lil blueberry when you were a baby

Chloe: i'm gonna get Bridget to send me baby photos of you then we'll see what you say

(chloe still to this day, after a year of dating, has not left her parents alone with her girlfriend)

Every time Chloe says she’s Charming, Red goes "that’s debatable." and Chloe can do nothing but pout until Red smiles at her.

They did it in front of Ella once and she already thought Chloe was her husband’s mini me but this gave her so many flashbacks from their life together that she almost started crying right there in front of them.
