He’s been found.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t know the other — He was expecting to meet someone from his team, instead. He’s never seen him before, and he even sounds annoyed. Even so, he’s incredibly relieved.Â
An audience, huh?
“It is almost impossible for a supporting actor to have an audience, sir. Not being heard is an every day thing for me — Most of the time, people won’t even notice my presence.”
He’s not complaining about it. He’s used to it, and after some time, he even finds it comfortable.
“In any case, forgive my rudeness. I am Kuroko Tetsuya, nice to meet you.”
Cain wasn't sure why, but to hear another accept their lot in life as being that of a 'supporting' role was an irritant. They were not children still growing into the part they had been born for. The time to step up to the plate had come and gone with the seasons...it seemed this stranger had missed his chance.
"Cain. Earl Cain Hargreaves." The brunette's own introduction was stiff as he contemplated the other, vaguely wondering what sort of person it took to fall into place in such a manner. Perhaps he was merely someone who was incredibly laid back, perhaps even lazy, or maybe he really did blame himself, permitting others to outshine him as they saw fit. Of all things, Cain sorely hoped it was not the last option.
"Is it not in your nature to assert yourself?" The words issued from Cain's mouth without a split second more of contemplation. "You've an audience now. The stage is your's to command."
