i think poseidon surrendering the war for percy explains why percy choose the gods' side in the future. because percy actually saw that his father is willing to give up glory for him, and he knows that glory is a big deal for the greeks. that's why despite understanding that luke's argument makes sense to some extent, he's still on the gods' side. his father's side.

I hate and love having a crush. I hate that I'm too insecure to tell him I like him. I hate being lowkey afraid to talk to him. I hate being afraid that I'll say/do the wrong thing. I love being able to envision me in love. I love how I get excited to see him. I love thinking about the possible dates. I love the giddy feeling I get when he smiles at me. His laugh is so cute. Sometimes he'll do this thing where he'll lean on me (not all the time, once in a blue moon, but it makes me giggle). I love hearing his plans about school,or plans in general. If he wasn't in his field he'd be a screenwriter instead. He's got a thing for directing or maybe he just never wants to be in the shot. Either way the bits and pieces I've seen of his creativity makes me smile. He has a big laugh that fills the room and I wanna hear it all the time. He's always referencing pop culture. Sometimes I don't pick up on them but I like how he'll turn to me and look at me as if he automatically thinks I got it. I get a little panicky when he does that bc I hope he doesn't think I'm stupid. He's someone who seems like he likes to be more present in life he doesn't really use social media. I like that cuz I'm someone that needs to be more present and more grounded he seems like he's a grounded person....seems like this I haven't gotten not close to him yet. I like how he walks and it looks like he's just strolling through life... I don't know that's a weird thing to say but I like it
