BLUP Challenge and Fundraiser 2024, 2025, 2026

Each year we chose a certain childhood cancer to fundraise for. In the past we raised money for DIPG, general childhood cancer and leukemia. We are starting up again in September 2025 to raise money for a different kind of childhood cancer.

Each blup our team completes equals $1 to our fundraiser.

Each foal bred equals 0.25 cents and it all adds up FAST when we work together.

We need your help!

We're looking for active participants who want to help us breed and blup shetland ponies for childhood cancer research.

We need breeders, bluppers, trainers or any Howrse skill that you are are passionate about.

We also need VIP placeholders and money donor *volunteers. (donations are fully flexible for real money volunteers as little as $5min, $5 is the min for alexslemonade.org these donations are completely up to you.)

we are recruiting :)

we're looking for passionate howrse players who are active on the game who want to help us breed shetlands for a cause with a real life impact.

requirements

-basic knowledge of blupping

-good communication

-active on the game

-have the resources to blup at least 1 horse a month

-low pace team, good for beginners and good for teaching-

Volunteers needed

if you are interested in becoming a real money donor:

your donation that you’ll provide will not be any more than $20 usd (and that is in a scenario where we have a full team 20 members who’s all participated in the blup challenge.)

so it’ll probably be much less than that, like reasonably $5

multiple ppl can volunteer for this. 1 person does not have to donate for every gift that we get as long as we’ve got volunteers who want to help there’s a minimum donation limit so please make sure to write down what gift you received how much it’s worth and who it’s from

this is an example-

person 1 gives an item worth $3

person 2 gives an item worth $1

person 3 gives an item worth $5

we owe $9 to the fundraiser

so if we get 3 ppl who give those items then we’ll be able to make 1 donation on the behalf of 3 ppl and that donation is going to be $9 and all 3 ppl's usernames will be included on the $9 donation. :)

if you chose to be a volunteer but end up not having enough money don’t worry i (or another volunteer) got you i’ll/we will cover the rest when possible! just let me know so that i can log everything. :)

you can pick how much money that you want to put forward so if you only want to put forward $5 you can do that. somebody else can put forward how much they want and somebody else can volunteer to pay the rest.

(but honestly it’s not going to get crazy like that it’ll be like $5 and $10 dollar donations.)

BMI Donations Information

Hello we are chasing butterflies

we are a brand new team on howrse int

this team is going to make real world change for kids who have cancer

right now our vision is to raise money for alex's lemonade stand foundation through a couple of different ways

-our blup challenge for our team members. During this challenge each team member who blups at least 1 horse will have $1 per person donated to the fundraiser.

so if 5 team members participate and blup 1 horse each then $5 will be donated

-item/bmi donations to our team members. 1 way for non members of our team to help this team and kids with cancer is by reserving a gift to one of our team members that can be used to help our team progress.
