Hey guys apologies for not having vlogs out on Sunday, I was way too tired to edit on Friday and Sunday when I was flying to and from Perth so I didn’t get much done. I have a lot of content from my trip to Perth as well as the Vegan Australia Day the week prior so I look to sharing that with you all. Also I’m working extra hours at work so I’m not getting anything done, including going to the supermarket or doing my washing so it’s a bit frustrating. I’ll be back Sunday 11am GMT

So 2017 has been a bit of a roller coaster. I’ve been battling an auto immune disease so I spent a lot of time trying to learn to manage it better. Hospital stays, invasive testing and days off work was a very long an arduous year. Best thing was definitely knowing that I could take the positives out of this year, being on media for the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens, going to see the Crusaders in Melbourne and then watching them on my iPad 2 months later whilst in bed take out their 8th Super Rugby title. I then spent 16 days in Japan, I might of broken my toe but it was the best experience to be part of, with the highlight of rolling up to a Kobelco Steelers training session and also a Panasonic Wild Knights game and surprising some friends who play rugby in Japan. 2018 is shaping up for some good things, heading to Christchurch to see my partner, Lana is one of those highlights, going to Perth in 2 weeks is another, but my big one is heading to Dublin, Berlin, Israel, Palestine and Japan in September/October/November for a 6 week adventure I am so looking forward to the most. Kia Ora Chasing Whanau! Sorry that the last few weeks I only dropped to one vlog a week, work has been hectic, obviously Hanukkah/Xmas/New Years hasn’t made it easier either. I have been pretty burnt out and not feeling energetic - but since I’ve been vegan and also taking more supplements, I’m now a lot better and have been filming and editing videos each evening so now I am well ahead in my schedule by a few weeks. This weekend I am going to be at the Brisbane Vegan Markets filming my first experience there plus I’ll be heading to South Bank, Brisbane as well for just some one on one chats about my 2018 plans and what spurred on my decision to go to Israel. On January 20 and 21 there is a few other opportunities for some filming for Chasing The Vegan Food and meeting up with some more people from the Brisbane Vegan community for them to be aware of what I do as a vlogger. From January 26-28 I will be in Perth, and I will be showing you not just my trip to Perth but also some vegan ideas when travelling. I am also flying business class on my way to Perth so I’ll show you what that is like as well as how you can fly business class for an economy fare. It’s a full on month this month, but it will be great to showcase everything I do and hopefully you can get an insight of what to do or even you can make a better selection when you buy a product or service! I hate doing anything negative and portraying anything in a bad light, but there are somethings that need to be said, and if it’s that bad I will make sure to let you know so you are aware. It’s taken me a while to edit this vlog mainly because I wasn’t sure whether this was the right way to do it, but I thought that if a product or service is to improve, they need to hear the good and the bad so they understand what they need to do. Anyway in October 2016, I flew with Air Asia X from Seoul Incheon to Sydney via Kuala Lumpur. In honesty there wasn’t much in the way of positives to enjoy about the flight, there was rude flight attendants, rude entitled passengers, the food was awful, and there was a lot of misinformation shared by the staff that had me running to the gate for my connecting flight for no apparent reason. When I fly to Seoul again, I will take Korean Air or Asiana Airlines I won’t take Air Asia X, they maybe a low cost carrier but cutting back on the price doesn’t mean cutting back on service. Check out my new vlog on YouTube about flying with @qantas long haul to and from Japan. I can not recommend Qantas highly enough for their service, professionalism and safely getting me to and from Tokyo. Even though we had awful turbulence and I had a foot injury on the return leg, the staff were completely professional and completely looked after each and every one of their passengers like VIPs.
