The project is a go! Thank you so much for the enthusiasm. Seriously, I couldn't have expected this reception.

To clear some things up and manage expectations. This will likely be a relatively short Visual Novel, I believe around 2 hours long, from Goro's POV, post-deadline ending, with a fully new social link between him and Ren, with in-between scenes of him fighting Maruki (through scripted battles). It will most likely have several bad endings, a neutral ending, and a good ending. It will also be free to play/pay what you want on Itchio or Ko-fi.

I'm mostly saying this so that people don't go expecting a full ten-hour game, done in less than a year(hopefully), by one person. (Though really, who knows for sure how long it will be, considering I always make my projects longer than intended.)

About offering help, I appreciate it, but I do wish to keep it to myself and to a smaller-scale thing! I'm a multimedia design major, have worked in the gaming industry, and done a post-grad in programming, so I'm pretty confident I've got what it takes. (Apart from the music aspect… which might end up being copyright-free.)

Anyway, this is mostly to say, I'm definitely excited to work on this, but please don't expect an insane game! Will hopefully be posting WIP's as I work on it :D Please stick around, maybe I will be asking for help at a later date.

PS: I'm still working on the shuake fics I've brought up in the past few months. They are simply getting out of hand and ending up longer than expected.
