One small detail in Markās new video
I love how Dark appears when Mark said about nothing scary happening when he IS AWAY.
There are two meanings to this phrase.
One, obvious, is that Mark went away from computer and Dark appeared, when he wasnāt there. BUT!
This video was uploaded on YouTube, while Mark is on the vacation.
He IS AWAY right now.

Ok, so @markiplierās vid today, 3 Scary Games #9 (https://youtu.be/abHGyg4LKn4) gave us some more to theorize on.
Lately heās been having camera trouble, as weāve seen in previous vids, but today I realized itās not just the tech. Somethingāno, someONEāis tampering with the tech.
He loses his webcam several timesā¦
But when it comes back, the whole video is distorted. Not just any distortion, this is classic VHS tape distortion (for you kids that grew up on DVDās and Netflix).
A few times we see his running programs. Heās using OBS to record, which is the same program I use to make my Letās Plays. In the few instances my webcam has frozen, there is no distortion, no static, just a silent, pitch-black blip and itās back. That means this wasnāt the tech failing. Something is tampering with it. And given that the egos, especially Dark, wants to take control of Markās channel, weāre seeing more and more of this.
Also, the woman on the phone reiterates āDonāt/Can you remember?ā and Mark saysĀ āI donāt remember!ā which is interesting, since the static-tv video āDonāt Rememberā has the voice that asks āDo you remember?ā
The video ends with a distorted, slowed down outro music. Certainly not a glitch. Something else is messing with the video. Something that wants control. Mark even states that something might be messing with him.
Mark has been slowly setting up this lore, and I love it. Outside the Markiverse, this is brilliant in planning because the cameraās not working before was so subtle, it didnāt seem obvious that it was part of the lore. The genius behind it is that if anything ever happens to Markās cameras, mic, lights, computer, WHATEVER, everyone is going to think āITāS DARKIPLIER!ā and think Mark planned it. Brilliant.
I canāt wait to see where this leads, but I am highly intrigued.
It also makes me wonder if MatPatās theory might not have been entirely self-inspired. But rather, suggestively whispered by a certain YouTuberā¦

So I think that was Dark talking to either Wilford or us the viewer. The broken place is theĀ āUpside Downā of The Manor or the place that Wilford and Abe are stuck in. Who knows they might be the same place essentially.Ā
Also it is obviously Darkās voice but it is missing some of the upper distorted layers, as well as the creaking and high pitched whine. I wonder if that means that this is anĀ āearlierā form of Dark in the same way we just saw anĀ āearlier form of Wilford.Ā Ā
Whoever it is they sound angry and I am interested to see what they will do next. Bravo @markiplier , I am intrigued.Ā
