Walking ahead of him, she came to a halt upon hearing his voice. Serah took a peek over her shoulder before turning to face him, hesitantly taking a few steps in his direction.

“–is everything alright? I just heard you and…” She is fumbling with words, aware that she is butting into business that isn’t hers. “…are you lost?”

Terra was taken aback by the girls sudden turn and question. It wasn’t often that he found someone in this town that was willing to help out before, or even ask such as this girl has.

Tapping an itch on the back of his head Terra let out a soft chuckle, “Thanks for asking, looks like I’ve gotten myself turned around– suppose you could help a guy find his way?” He questioned while folding his arms across his chest, his brow arching as he eyed the girl.

“This is starting to happen more often than i’d prefer--” Frustration filling his voice as the man found himself lost once again.

‵☆ TERRA & LIGHTNING .

❝ We also need to be cautious. ❞ Lightning had already crouched partially, ready for a trap to spring itself. ❝ You never know what could be lurking in the darkness. ❞ Her gaze set on the light that was looming out of what seemed to be a doorway up ahead. ❝ I’ll follow behind, someone else can take point. ❞ She might have been all for taking charge in this situation, but she was more concerned with the darkness behind them that the light that shown in front of them.   

For the next few moments she is silent, unsure if speaking too much would draw the attention of other enemies or anyone else lurking inside the maze to them. Letting the two get in front of her she kept her head on swivel to the area behind them. 

         The brunet instantly shifts his gaze, toward the summoned weapon. A keyblade? It certainly resembles one. In a flash of golden light, FATAL CREST, materializes within his grip. He nods in agreement. Teamwork is best, if they are to make it out alive. Before they advance forward, the teen introduces himself.

                   ❝ I’m Sora. ❞

They should at least know each other’s names, in case of separation, or needing to call on one another. Once the group proceeds, Sora will trail after the older male, with the pinkette guarding the rear.

“Terra.”

He spoke briefly not wanting their presence to be known. With the pinkette in the rear and the boy following close behind Terra, the man had no choice but to take the lead, but it felt as good as spot as any to the tempered man.

Crumbles of rotting flesh were suddenly dropping from the walls around them, a smell so vile there was no way to escape it’s stench. Zombie like creatures started protruding from the walls and unearthing themselves from the ground below. Fear wasn’t an option for the warrior and his only instinct was to take down whatever obstacle stood before him.

“Get ready!” He called out before leaping into battle, his keyblade moving with heavy strikes to each creature. Flesh stuck to the mans weapon as he barreled through their bodies, even sending parts flying through the air just from sheer force.

         upon arrival, Sora is immediately disturbed. the air is heavy with viridescent, smothering the sky. he does not like it here. looming pitch walls of brick, lead into unknown DARKNESS. the all too familiar feeling, of wanting to locate his friends surfaces, but the task at hand is to rescue the queen & defeat the Mad King, lurking at the end of the maze. despite the comfort of comrades accompanying him, the brunet senses that something is not right. of course, everything with this area is unsettling, but his head started aching, the moment he stepped foot here.

It was becoming a common theme for Terra to find himself surrounded by strangers and risking his life for a reward he was not so sure of, but a Queen had to be saved and it was Terra’s civil duty to agree to help. The place he had entered felt much different from previous dangers he had faced, the air was thick and their overall presence did not feel welcoming one bit. Summoning Earthshaker Terra made sure he was ready for anything that came at him.

“Safe to say we need to work as a team if we’re going to make it through this.” Through the darkness Terra could see a faint green light that looked as though it was coming out of a door just ahead.
