Seriously, go look at Angelie’s new Instagram post, especially the third photo. Is this really supposed to be the definition of a “model figure”? Because honestly, I’m a bit confused. Her proportions don’t really match the image she’s trying to present- she appears to have a wider waist and broader upper body compared to her hips, which is typically described as an inverted triangle body shape. You can clearly see that the upper part of her body looks wider, and then when you look down, there is a sudden contrast with extremely thin legs that don’t seem proportionate to the rest of her silhouette. It creates a very unbalanced appearance. And let’s be honest, this type of proportion is not usually what is considered desirable in traditional modeling. The extreme thinness also doesn’t make the look appear more elegant or refined -quite the opposite, the overall effect feels quite unsettling and difficult to perceive. And before anyone starts- yes, I know women have different body types and every person’s figure is unique. But we’re not talking about just any person here; we’re talking about someone who presents herself as a “model.” The modeling industry has always had certain standards regarding proportions, body lines, and the way a silhouette is presented.Honestly, her figure gives me more of a very youthful, underdeveloped appearance rather than the classic feminine silhouette that is usually associated with professional modeling.
I think when someone has the privilege of basically being handed a job, unfortunately this is what happens: unqualified people end up in professions they have no talent for. It happens all the time...
