If Tony Stark isn't a flirt, I've written him wrong. Right now we're really, REALLY in the angst stage--world dying, Avengers emotionally killing him--but when Tony's back to 90% (because he's never at 100%), just imagine the possibilities? The full Stark Swagger on display with slightly oblivious, clumsy Ryland Grace? Oh my god, I can't wait to get to that.

Hehe I would never admit it again, but chapter four is my favorite chapter so far too. I've done a few Tony internal panic moment which is really fun, but if the infamous oh isn't happening with Tony, I haven't done it right. Can you imagine Pepper when she finds out? And the media??? Imagine the company backlash and Ryland being so embarrassed by it all. Imagine Imagine Tony not giving a single shit about it and assuring Ryland that his image is the last thing he cares about. UGH IT'S SO CUTE.

Okay, this is a harder question. Considering how long this fic is getting, I don't think it'll be exactly THIS fic. I think this is going to turn into a series. Maybe. But if it is this fic, I am not against it at all!!! That chapter rating is on there for a reason--mostly because of Tony--and I want to use it! My brain is on "let's get the flirt going" first, so I gotta get these two to be oblivious to each other for a bit, but we'll get there! I sometimes find that more fun anyway. :)

Now that Tony knows he likes Grace romantically, I can imagine he starts to subconsciously flirt with him during labs 😭😭😭 can you imagine how flustered Grace would get??? Which would make him all the more appealing to Tony too LMAO

Flustered Grace is MY FAVORITE, and Tony is gonna be like a freaken peacock every five seconds. Poor Grace is going to drop SO many things by the time I'm done with him. We have to get through the angst first, but I PROMISE the romance is coming.

Y'all ever write a Tony Stark confessing... literally anything... scene, and wonder when this guy actually says what he means? Like shit, trauma boy, just say you're sad already! (Chapter six of my story Mechanics and Microbes I'm coming along slowly, but it's coming along!) Spoiler under the line!

"What is this, molten coffee ice cream?" Tony grumbled, his voice raspy and indignant as he glared at the mug, then at Ryland. "How many sugar packets did you dump in here? I think my teeth are actively dissolving. There is a legal limit to glycemic density, Teach."

Rhodey let out a dry, entirely unimpressed snort from across the table, leaning back in his chair.

"Beggars can't be choosers, Tony," Rhodey pointed out flatly.

"I'm not a beggar," Tony shot back instantly, though he still took another, slightly smaller sip of the sugary offense anyway. "I'm the landlord. I own the machine that roasted the beans. I am highly entitled to be a chooser."
