Within the Intermission Orchestra at UCSD, I have an Intermission family of littles ( The Unholy Quadrinity: @robo_senpai , @toasty_tea , and @ratcicle981 ), and grandlittles (Krepe Krew: @jasonjhuang__ , Sabrina, Kasey, and Emily). When I met Jon, Jasmine, and Tony last year, little did I know they'd become some of the closest friends I'd ever make. Our mutual love of video games, food, anime, and music among other things really made for some amazing experiences and memories such as our family dinner at Rei Do Gado, our trip to San Francisco, and our trip to the Air Show! As for Jason, Sabrina, Kasey, and Emily, despite only meeting them this year, again it was our shared interests that bonded us together, which eventually led to us having a big family gathering at China Max, a family dinner at Din Tai Fung, and some other...err... wholesome activities and shenanigans! All in all, despite me being over 5500 miles away from my Intermission family, I know I will always cherish these memories, remain close to everyone, and continue to count down the days until we have our next adventure together! My Return to San Diego Part 3: My trip wouldn't be complete without visiting one of the most musically-talents organizations I've ever been a apart of – The Intermission Orchestra at UCSD! Even though I had zero orchestra experience prior to joining, it was the welcoming, friendly, and fairly weeb-ish environment that influenced me to stay. Over the next two and half years, I joined the percussion section with Ty, @kinhluanvu , @roblesli14 , @sherzahed , @toasty_tea , @kritical_hit , @chuleta.o , Sabrina, @drewtnguyen , and Brandon, learned to play the drumset from @roblesli14 , co-arranged my first arrangement (a Made in Abyss Medley) with @watercolor.cos and conducted it, arranged and conducted a Generational Pokémon Medley, conducted Snow Halation arranged by @watercolor.cos , weeb-ed out at karaoke with @robo_senpai , @highwolf_x , @thewumbosupreme , and @chuazongming , saw @evajialei conduct the orchestra in Happy Birthday for me on my birthday, and met a ton of amazing people like @ratcicle981 , @jasonjhuang__ , Kasey, Emily, @derrickhue1337 , @wilf_lan , @kkalltheway_ , @daviddong65 , @danamariechan , Elliot, @xeiggam , Daniel Athena, @yeysara , @soph_belly , @janievo123 , @starrrstream , @czchrispy , @tammatoes , Alan, @phillipkim1 , Ally and so much more! My Return to San Diego Part 2: Do you like video games? Well, I do, and @tritonesports is one of the best gaming organizations I've had the pleasure to be a part of during my last two years of university! To think this all happened because @p.seth.removed decided to invited officers from the Pokémon League at UCSD to join Triton Gaming back in Fall 2016. From there, I've met some of the best gamers, talented cosplayers, and weeb-est weebs ever! I will never forget all of the amazing, fun (and sometimes stressful) times I've had with everyone – from taking @tony_zzhang , @anguyen96 , @lunillios , @derrickhue1337 , and @Truman Tse with me at 4am in the morning to reserve a bonfire pit, to weebing out with @Alex Militar, @astrizen , and @mushifox ; from joining the keto group for a little while with @tianmubian and @Jayvee, to helping prep for events like Triton Gaming Expo with @lycomq , @captphantastic , @Lauren Hong, @tl.flashftw , @spengarsenal , @mindiquil , and everyone else in Triton Gaming! Happy Mother's Day from Japan~! Seeing my family in-person after 6 months was definitely a new experience. Until then, I had never gone more than a few weeks without stopping by my home, chilling a bit, and then returning to campus shortly after. Having a surprise birthday party thrown for me was one of the most heart-warming events I've ever experienced! The video on the second slide and third slide show how speechless I was when everyone yelled "SURPRISE" and then sang "Happy Birthday~!" You guys definitely got me good! Thank you, everyone, for all the birthday wishes! I really appreciate it, and it means lot to me. This past weekend, I went to Twitch Con 2017 and had a blast! That night, I attended the closing ceremony, and watched a video that had an awe-inspiring quote: "Do what makes you happy. Do everything that makes you you." Despite that day being hot, sunny, and over 100 degrees with no clouds and very little water, we were able to conquer Potato Chip Rock! RB Sushi time! Sure, they're Japanese exchange students who have grown up eating sushi, but All You Can Eat Sushi at RB Sushi is one of those things that are a must when in San Diego. Not only was their list of American experiences expanded, but their stomachs as well~! RB Sushiタイムだ！日本人だからから、確かにお寿司を食べたことが有るけど、サンディエゴにいたら、RB Sushiでお寿司の食べ放題を食べる必要が有ると思う。 アメリカでの経験のリストだけでなく、お腹も広まった〜！ (at RB Sushi - Rancho Bernardo)

Next up on the San Diego Tour was the Del Mar Fair! There, I tested their stomachs with American-style fair foods such as deep-fried Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Blooming Onions, and BBQ-Flavored Bug Chips.
