NERD ALERT! NERD ALERT! Am about to go full Star Wars on ya here. Order 66, for those not familiar with Star Wars history, was the order implanted on a bio chip that was inserted into all clone troops that when activated would control the behavior of all clone troopers to aggressively turn on all Jedi and execute them believing they were trying to over throw the Republic. In a nutshell that's what happened today! I got through it that's all that matters in the end but thank God and all the midichlorians that I am not a jedi cause my fat ass would've been the first to go! More like Rebel Pilot Porkins 😂😂! Today was a good WOD! A good tabata that seemed to work both legs and arms. Needless to say the top half was more manageable than the bottom half. By end my upper arms felt like jello. So far I swear by these mava knee sleeves. I've worn them on occasion throughout the day and this WOD didn't have much in way of squats they helped me get through whole 4 round of crunch kicks. So far great things to be said about this product looking to see how they handle the squats. (at Level Up Fitness VA)

Today's WOD felt like the preperation before war. For anyone wondering the numbers are the number of reps to do. Through one round of 12 then restart for 10 and so on and so on. By number two I was muttering to myself this is all your getting and nothing more! Especially those dragon burpees, even for me being burpees impaired, it is still a workout doing them a different style. Today's WOD did suck but about hour afterwards it felt great to be alive. Mad Max indeed! Although starting out better than last week! This workout, for me anyways, was one word. Intense. For me anywas, I can't speak for others that are more physically inclined then I. Everything was doable the hardest for me were the Tri Pod Ups and the Raised Leg Push-ups which came second round after almost dieing in the first round. All in all a great way to start the week I walked in and was dragging myself out which means I did something right! (at Level Up Fitness VA)

Day 16! Running really?! I almost wanted to ask what would be chasing me as I ways said that would be the only reason I would run! I have to be honest I did about 400 meters before my feet were saying otherwise, but I did stick to the AMRAP and did each round on the row instead, 4 rounds at that I even shocked myself. Timer went off just as I was starting my 400 meter row but I did not stop and finished my round. My old gym coach, Coach Prince of Arcadia High used to have this saying he would chant every pep rally to get the school fired up. It goes "I'am Somebody, I will strive to achieve I will persevere, because I am Somebody!" it's funny around meter 279 I found myself saying it in my head and made me chuckle. To sleeping faster! Day 15 of recommitment! Today was the first time I ever actually woke up to workout! I literally woke up, dressed, brushed teeth and left to be at Level Up at 6am! It definetly sucked but definetly worth it. I know if i went at 830 it would have been the same workout but maybe it was a mind thing being there at 6 am but today was very taxing. Of course any WOD that includes burpees is taxing for me! Today's early start was to ensure I kept my commitment due to having to go to Virginia Beach for hearing check and have baby girls tooth pulled 😢. Day 14 of recommitment! It's been a little lax in my recommitment had some stuff going on that had to come to grips on, but I have not given up! Although after the frog push ups going right to thrusters made me contemplate it. Got through all 5 rounds and felt great about it after the fact. These morning beatings haven't been so much to obtain better personal looks but to feel better about myself and knowing that I'm at least trying is more than I could've said years ago or at beginning of year. When I walked in door for first time Doc asked me why was I there and honest answer was I want to add some years to my life. After sitting in on my daughter's first parent teacher conference, which went great, I was given further proof on why I want to add years to my life. I want to see how great each of my children become and I want to share in their successes and failures and only way to do that is to kill myself a little each day for the ultimate gain in the end. Day 13 of recommitment! Ice ice baby! That's what I'm gonna need tonight, a full athlete style ice bath! Is this punishment for missing yesterday?! If so the rest of them had nothing to do with it! Let my people go! In all seriousness walking in and seeing that list almost floored me, I mean it's longer than my kitchen prep list lol. You stand there debating if you can make it through then you hear them say "all right here we go 45 seconds each" your brain just goes screw it let's do this. Then your done. Not today! Day 12 of recommitment! This post is definetly a couple days late but as love goes sometimes its so hectic that some things just take a little extra time. The boss of Friday was definetly those Ape Hops! Those things seemed to beat me into submission a little more than I would've liked. It was my first time doing them and for someone born with two left feet this WOD definetly was a little challenge. As the days go on and number 14 approaches I find it easier and easier to get myself moving to go and get my life change every mooring. And find it harder and harder to train myself out of going. My own little personal celebration will come at day 30, almost half way there! (at Level Up Fitness VA)
