So this has been a really scary week. My cat, Puck (more affectionately and commonly referred to as Puckles) became very very sick this past weekend. After many scares and about three different veterinary hospitals being absolutely wonderful and doing everything they could to save my baby, he is finally doing much, much better. However, he has been diagnosed with Anemia and Small Cell Lymphoma, a cancer that affects his intestines and causes them to not absorb nutrients effectively. We are very fortunate that this is actually a very treatable cancer for cats, but his chemotherapy and his medical bills to determine what was causing him to get so sick have shaken both my sister @whoatess and I financially. Puck will also likely need chemotherapy on and off for the rest of his (hopefully long) furry life, and I want to do my best to be able to afford that for as long as he needs.

I’ve always considered doing a Patreon, because I have always wanted to share techniques and resources, and I love to help others improve and achieve their artistic goals, but in order to pay for Puck’s medical attention I accelerated my plans and have put it up now. I will do my absolute best to provide ample rewards to earn your patronage, but every little bit helps us in this hard time!

I am offering Photoshop brushes, exclusive sketches and WIPs, 4 PSDs a month, private streams, tutorials, training streams, request nights, care packages, and even 1-on-1 mentorship.

I’ve already put up some brushes and a PSD, and will be updating actively this week to build up an adequate resource pool for patrons. Thank you already for just reading down this far and considering helping. It hurts me so much to ask for help, but I will work so hard for all of you!

I’m so incredibly touched by all the notes and well wishes for Puck’s health and well being. Last night was the first back home since the ordeal, and he slept smashed against my butt all night and is beginning to eat small amounts of his regular food, which is a great improvement! You guys are amazing and we’ve already hit the first two goals, which means I’m taking requests for an illustration for a requested individual, and one for a pairing of patrons’ choice! Even a $1 pledge lets you have input on the rewards, so if you have something in mind, get in there and tell me what you want me to draw. <3

I don’t think I uploaded this here, but I still think it’s super cute so I’ll share. xD Done as a graphic to use with events involving the Hallow Witch NPC for my Manaberry project. If it’s not apparent, she likes to make deals with people that are almost always more than what they first appear to be. Whether that ends up being good or bad in the end is really anyone’s guess.
